Pixie for Lipsy Secret
It's Happy Monday here in the office because Pixie is back with another hot collection for the autumn/winter season following her last three SOLD OUT Pixie for Lipsy ranges. Launching nationwide tomorrow and echoing her new edgy look, the collection mimics Pix gorgeous personality with luxe, sexy daywear and spotlight grabbing party looks for the ultimate in red carpet style.
Offering the staple buys for the season including cut out dresses, sequin LBD's and 60's style short shorts with a matching jacket, Pixie said "I love designing my own clothing line with Lipsy. I am so excited that this is my fourth clothing range. The new range is the best one yet."

Celebs Party With Kate
Amidst all the partying this last week, the iconic London landmark Battersea Power Station hosted the cream of the fashion world and London's most stylish elite to celebrate 10 years of Kate Moss and Rimmel. Not short of a fabulous arrival, Kate landed by helicopter in true high fashion style dressed in a vintage LBD showing off her bare legs and sexy figure.
It's been the talk of London town with Solange Knowles making a special appearance on the DJ decks as well as a guest set by the Queens of Noize and the exclusive performance by The Noisettes. The HOT-TICKET party celebrated the world's most famous supermodel and the cosmetic brands lasting partnership in the heart of the city.
Style icons including Georgia May Jagger, Sadie Frost, Erin O'Conner, Rachel Stevens, Dionne Bromfield and Cher Lloyd were all in attendance to party with Kate at the star studded event. Talking about her new lipstick collection Kate said "My inspiration for this range was really to create a range of easy to wear, classic shades that I have always worn and loved. From bright reds, to soft pinks and nudes, there is a shade for everyone and any occasion. It was also really important for me that they were comfortable to wear. Whatever your outfit there is sure to be a shade to match!"

The British Are Coming
Hollywood saw the Emmy awards this weekend with the Brits coming out on top. Stars like the gorgeous Kate Winslet made her red carpet appearance in a stunning v-neck floor length red dress, nodding to the red alert trend. Whilst across the ocean, back home London Fashion Week has been hosting a collection of amazing shows with London's finest in attendance and dressed to impress. A-Listers such as Alesha Dixon were seated at the front row of Julien McDonalds show whilst, Dionne Bromfield and Pixie Geldof were the centre of attention at Sass & Bide held at The Royal Opera House in Covent Garden.
We're excited here at Lipsy HQ about the summer hues that designers have been teasing us with and staying true to what Spring/Summer is all about, so far we've noted large floral delights, short shorts and mini skirts with a twist of 20's style. Backstage at the Paul Costelloe Show at Somerset House the man of the moment gave us his top tips on wardrobe must have's for S/S12, "It's flirty shift dresses, bare legs, ankle socks and your hair up." Ooh! We're loving the sound of that...

Show Time
As the New York shows draw to a close, the London Fash Pack get ready to roll out to the shows at Somerset House. Kicking off with Paul Costelloe and Caroline Charles, the fashion capital is buzzing with supermodels and the press waiting for style inspiration. Shows on the Lipsy radar include PPQ and Julien MacDonald as the HQ girls get set to run the fashion week marathon.
Although we know winter isn't quite here yet and we're all still shopping the trends for the current season, it helps a fashionistas to get a sneak peek at what S/S12 has in store and the season is looking bright!! It's the return of digital prints, metallics and bright whites as Nicholas K, Tibi and Vera Wang had models strut their stuff at the Mercedes Benz shows.
Of course a few famous faces were spotted on the front rows as the stars came out sporting their best designer dresses to mark the occasion. Beyonce looked stunning in her earth tone two piece rocking a leather fitted waistcoat and a voluminous black swan style skirt. While, Fashion Police star Kelly Osbourne made her appearance in a swinging sixties dress and white gloves to make a statement.

What are your favourite pieces from the collection?
I'm in love with the 70s inspired red jumpsuit! I find that Lipsy clothes fit so well.
How would you describe your style?
I mainly tend to wear girlie styles, but it does depend on my mood and who I'm with. I like to wear classic, fitted dresses when I'm feeling girlie, but I love to wear rock chick styles with my leather jacket, shoe boots and jewellery.
What's your most extravagant fashion purchase?
An ex-boyfriend once bought me a Prada dress for Christmas.
How long does it take you to get ready for a night out?
I like to take my time for a big night out, it usually takes me 3 hours as I like to drink and relax while I'm getting ready. But I can get ready in 1.5 hours if I'm pushed to!
Do you have any fashion tips for Lipsy girls?
Always buy the right size dress, there's nothing worse than if your dress is too small, it doesn't look flattering. I look to fashion magazines for my inspiration.
Where's your favourite hangout?
In Essex I go to Funky Mojoe and I love the Mayfair Bar and Cirque Du Soir in London.
What are you're A/W essentials?
I'll be wearing lots of faux fur this A/W.
What can we expect from the next season of TOWIE?
This will be the best series yet! We're all a lot more comfortable in front of the cameras now so we're much more relaxed with each other which may be dangerous!
Do you have any tips for people you want to get into TV?
Have a back up plan and stay positive! I wanted to be a model when I was younger but I wasn't tall enough, and then I got into modelling at 25.

Sweet for My Sweets
The New Face is upon us this season, with beauty taking a turn to 'au naturale'. Make-up artists kept the models looking peachy and chic on the catwalks for a minimal effect and brought a whole new approach to beauty.

Children of the Revolution
To kick start London Fashion Week this Friday, we're opting for the ultimate in sixties style for our front row appearance. Taking inspiration from the legendary Twiggy, London's super cool street chic and baby doll silhouettes for the children of the revolution; designers such as Bottega Veneta, Burberry Prorsum and Prada made the sixties key trend a theme in their a/w 11 collections to follow.
It's not enough that mini dresses and flares were the new looks to note, as the return of the peter pan collar has firmly made itself the essential buy of the season to nail sixties chic. Colour blocking also comes alive and lights up those cloudy days with bursts of orange, pinks and greens on single pieces to compliment autumn's shedding leaves.
For a play on the boy/girl style, make like Twiggy's iconic look and go for a short cropped haircut to highlight your cheeks for strong definition. Ladies Night at the MOBO Nominations
The stars were out at the MOBO nominations this week and Jessie J walked away with a whopping five nominations! We know she is super good at what she does, so they are each very well deserved Jess.
Set to take place next month in Glasgow she shared: "I am so honoured. I have watched so many of the artists I look up to being nominated, winning awards and performing - it's amazing to be in the company of such amazing talent. I can't wait to be there on October 5. Thank you to the MOBO Awards and my fans."
The gorgeous TOWIE girls Lauren Goodger and Lauren Pope were out with their celebrity friends too to soak up the music atmosphere.
