Pixie Lott talks to Lipsy
Walking barefoot around Kensington Roof Gardens in a floaty white dress, it's obvious that Pixie Lott is ready for summer when we catch up with her, perhaps because she's just back from shooting her 'Pixie Loves Lipsy' collection in Spain's warmer climes. "It was amazing to go to Marbella and be in the sunshine," Pixie enthuses. "I loved doing the festival stuff as the makeup was a bit crazy. I also love accessories, so we had fun with scarves and hats and I took a creative role in the way I looked."

Having started wearing Lipsy at a young age, Pixie knows that "when girls look for something to wear on a weekend, they go to Lipsy" and feels that her collection sums up her style perfectly.
"The collection is very me and that's why it was great to do the two looks - festival and party - as I love festivals and I love going out. It's good for people looking for something to wear over the summer and for the weekends."
Pixie describes her style as "vintage-inspired with a mix of contemporary fashion and designer", and the collection is just as eclectic, with her favourite pieces spanning current trends. "I really like this white pom-pom dress as it's vintage-looking, so I'll definitely be wearing it at the festivals this year. I also love the red and black lace bodice party dress which I'd wear out on a Friday or Saturday night. "Then there's the white lace backless dress - I love any kind of backless style and I think a lot of my friends will like that as well," she adds.

Sitting cross-legged, and happy to have pictures taken with fans within the Lipsy family, it's clear that Pixie is one laid-back pop star - so much so that she tells us it takes her just 30 minutes to get ready for a night out! "If I have half an hour, I can do that definitely - it just depends how much time I have. If it's two hours, it can take that long too. "However long you have, if you're doing smoky eyes you have to do that before you do your base and cheeks because it can get messy and you don't want to have to start over."

With two number-one singles under her belt, as well as a platinum-selling debut album, it's hard to believe that Pixie is still just 19. If she wasn't one of the country's favourite pop stars, she says would still be at Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts with her friends, singing, dancing, acting or "doing anything entertainment-focused". "You've got to be an opportunist in this game," she says. "If you want it you have to go for every audition, every opportunity. "I used to scour the internet and papers all the time. But I think if you have the right dedication and persistence you'll get there."

With a stunning look, amazing talent and fun-loving personality, it seems that Pixie could have any man she chose, so who would that be? "I don't have any unusual celebrity crushes," she smiles coyly. "It's just the usuals like Rob Pattinson and Ashton Kutcher, but I bet everyone says that!" And what would you do if you met them? "I don’t know actually," she laughs. "Say 'hi'?" With this it becomes clear that even gorgeous pop stars can get a bit star-struck and giggly at times, and it's this down-to-earth attitude that makes Pixie one of our favourite celebs. We can't wait to get our hands on the pieces in her exclusive Lipsy collections!

90210's Jessica Lowndes parties in Lipsy
Jessica Lowndes, who plays Adrianna Tate-Duncan in hit series 90210, popped into Lipsy HQ to stock up on some party essentials this weekend.
The gorgeous star made the most of her London trip by fitting in some serious shopping and socialising. Having partied at Movida on Friday, she hosted a night at Vendrome on Saturday and accessorised our origami bustier dress with a waist-defining belt, leather jacket and black clutch.
Jessica is the latest in a growing number of US celebs to be spotted in Lipsy, with Paris Hilton, Demi Lovato, The Hills' Kristin Cavallari and Kimberly Wyatt from the Pussycat Dolls all taking Lipsy items stateside.
The American 'it' girls can't get enough of Lipsy party dresses and also seem to be big fans of our logo wear and lace items.

Get the look: Amber Le Bon
Daughter of supermodel Yasmin Le Bon and Duran Duran singer Simon Le Bon, Amber Le Bon has some seriously cool celeb heritage and is emerging as the one to watch on the London fashion scene right now. She's been snapped up by top agency Models 1 and has bagged some high-profile modelling gigs already this year, so expect to be seeing a lot more of this 'it' girl.
What we love most about our newest girl crush is her understated style: At just 20 she oozes class and sophistication, and we've completely fallen for her fresh, laid-back look.

She's recently pulled off the pretty prairie trend with a cute Broderie Anglaise dress, bow detail belt and retro curls, and demonstrated her versatility by adding rock-chic edge to a LBD with a zip-detail biker jacket. Pair our wardrobe-staple rainbow Lurex dress with the gold stud leather jacket for a similar look.
But it's not all about the party dresses with Miss Le Bon: She looks tres-cool in a printed vest, harem trousers and a boho long pendent too, and we reckon she's going to emerge as a true style icon at this summer's festivals.

Pixie Lott shoots Lipsy collection
Not even grey skies could dampen Pixie Lott's enthusiasm for her new Lipsy collection as she worked the camera on last week's shoot. We thought Marbella would be a safe bet for a bit of sun but the fashion gods must have been out of earshot as Pixie modelled her trademark 'festival' and 'party' looks in the Spanish city.
With the collections launching in late April we don't want to spoil the surprise by letting you in on the Pixie pieces just yet, but these pics give you an idea as to the feel of the festival range. Pixie loves white sun dresses and Americana waistcoats!
She also fell for our stud-detail biker wellies - just how cool can you get? We're expecting these to be a big hit with the 'Brit' girls - paired with denim hotpants of course - during festival season so make sure you snap them up before the celebs do.

Get the look: Chloe Sevigny
Actress, designer, and model Chloe Sevigny’s unique style draws on the grunge look, which she helped make cool the first time round as an ‘it’ girl in 1990s New York. But what we love about Chloe’s style is that she manages to pull off masculine pieces whilst retaining an edge of alluring femininity.
Give the girl a tutu and a clutch and she pairs them with statement vests, biker boots and thick-rimmed glasses, maintaining the balance between girly, geek and grunge.
But that’s not the say that Chloe can’t turn up the glamour when required â€" this is a girl who's been in showbiz for well over a decade, remember. At recent red carpet events she’s sparkled in a blue architectural bandeau, gone for full-on feminine charm in a white frill skirt babydoll and proved that her look is current by nailing the top bun, Grecian and nude trends in a floaty one-shoulder number.

Stars shine in Lipsy at Eva Longoria's Noble Gift Gala
Eva Longoria celebrated her 35th birthday with a host of celebrities at the Noble Gift Gala on Saturday, with many of the stars wearing Lipsy for the charity dinner and champagne reception.
Amy Winehouse's goddaughter and protégé Dionne Bromfield was among the stars to perform at the event, held at London's Dorchester Hotel, embracing the provocateur trend in our lace appliqué dress. While World Masters and British National Champion of Latin American Dance, and Strictly Come Dancing star Karen Hardy kept the dance floor rocking all-night long with Eva Longoria, whilst looking stunning in our VIP Pleated Skirt Dress!
But they weren't the only celebrities to sparkle in Lipsy. Long-time Lipsy-lovers Zoe Salmon and The Saturdays' Mollie King both amazed in pieces from our new VIP range, Zoe in the VIP bustier sequin dress and Mollie previewing a piece that's coming soon.
Balls of Steel star Olivia Lee softened the provocateur/rock-chic look by wearing a salmon-pink leather jacket over the lace bustier dress - try our leather biker in a similar shade - and Lipsy even got the high-fashion treatment as model and Vivienne Westwood muse Tolula Adeymi stunned in the VIP bandeau disc dress.
The Gala raised money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, which helps young people with serious illnesses make their dreams come true, and Eva's own charity Eva's Heroes, which looks to improve life for people with developmental challenges.

Paris Hilton spotted in Lipsy tracksuit

It's no secret that Paris Hilton is a fan of Lipsy - last year she was spotted wearing our dresses, sunglasses and accessories and we even customised a leather jacket for her - but it seems that she's taken a special shine to our logowear range!
Paris has been papped in our Lipsy logo tracksuits a number of times when enjoying some leisure time, and was recently seen out and about in our pink Lipsy crown hoodie set.
A big hit with celebs, the velour hoodies and longue pants, which come in a range of colours and designs, are uber-comfy and the perfect outfit in which to chill out, hit the gym or enjoy a spot of retail therapy. Just remember to team with oversized shades for that true celeb look!

How to wear: The provocateur trend
This season is all about mixing and matching contrasting looks and the seductive s/s provocateur trend works wonders when softened by girly details.
D&G, Dior and YSL were among the designers to champion lingerie as a style to be shared, with models strutting down the catwalks in corsets, bodices, bra tops, big pants and slinky slips. Inherent to this look are sexy materials and sensual colours, so think lace, satin and silk in black, nudes and rich reds.
Our sexy red animal print chiffon dress takes inspiration from the D&G catwalk, where night-time designs were toned down for day-wear looks with prairie details and romantic ruffles. You can even add a tribal edge to the wild and racy style with our multi-coin necklace to lead the look away from the bedroom and into the jungle.
The provocateur trend also works when teamed with florals, and as clashing prints and textures is a celebrated style this season, we're free to pair lace and satin with flower prints to add girly charm to the sex siren look.

Get the Alice in Wonderland look
Lewis Carroll's classic novel 'Alice's Adventures in Wonderland' has been given the Tim Burton treatment and hits cinemas this week. But it's not just the film world that's all in a frenzy about Alice; her style has also inspired a fashion micro-trend. Part of the season's focus on all things pretty, the Wonderland look is all about girly garms and feminine fun.
Getting romantic on the runway, Chanel, Lanvin and Chloe were among the designers to use tulle and drape detail on fairytale dresses, creating a top spring/summer style. Our organza prom dress fully embraces the trend with a look that's fit for a princess, while the ballerina-style tulle frill skirt is a season essential.
Romantic ruffles are also essential to the Alice look, and needn't be over-the-top. Add a bit of fairytale magic to your day with our tipped ruffle shoulder blouse or the ruffle collar shift dress.

Countdown to summer begins with Lipsy Sun Shop
A range with many celeb fans - Sarah Harding, the Hollyoaks girls and The Saturdays to name but a few - we're very excited to see Lipsy swimwear back in stock, not least because it means that the countdown to summer can truly begin!
This year's collection has taken its cue from some of the hottest spring/summer trends to help you look your best by the pool or at the beach. As every Lipsy girl knows, there's no excuse for letting your style slip on holiday!
