Lipsy for style icons
What a fantastic month we have had here at Lipsy! There have been flashing lights surrounding our favourite stars and Mollie King, Chloe Sims, Rochelle Wiseman and Jessica Lowndes were all spotted out in Lipsy party dresses looking fabulous.
Pixie has been super busy with her A-List events including the release of her new video "All About Tonight", showing off her hot new look and edgy cropped hairdo. Plus, she appeared on the cover of Company magazine in her very own Lipsy Playsuit. And if that wasn't enough, Pixie got signed to Select Model Management, home to some of the world's biggest supermodels! We're so excited for you Pix, and loving all of your power moves, you're the ultimate 21st century girl.

As for festivals, if you were at Lovebox last weekend like we were then, you would have had fun fun fun. Our fav's were Snoop Dogg and Kelis and even though it rained non-stop we still looked festival chic in our Lipsy festival fashion.

Straight Off the Catwalk
Hair Trends have taken a sleek turn for A/W 11 with the ponytail at the forefront of looks to achieve. It's the hair style to mark the season with variations spanning from chic buns right through to sprouting curly locks.
London Fashion Week designers showcased their take on the popular trend with Alice Palmer opting for high placement with a slight tomboy attitude. Our beloved Giles and the super cool Jean Pierre Braganza went for the pretty girl polished look whilst, Bora Aksu made a classic statement with middle and side partings.
Britain and Ireland's Next Top Model is the hot topic right now with every girl competing to get that top model style but, the great thing about this key hair trend is that it's so easy to achieve. After you've shampooed, conditioned and blow dried your hair, smooth in a styling lotion and then paddle brush your hair to a mid centre ponytail, et voila you've got the look. For a red carpet take, fix with a small elastic hair band and pin in matching colour grips to nip in any fly away ends. The new Fiat 500 by Gucci launch brought all the celebs out last week! From Fashion Stylist Grace Woodward on Britain and Ireland's Next Top Model right through to rock and roll heiress Leah Weller.
Fiat met style at fashion's finest with a new model customised by Gucci Creative Director Frida Giannini in partnership with Fiat's Centro Stile. Lipsy give a big thumbs up to the looks these celeb's rocked at the high fashion soiree and we quite like the car too! The red and green stripes match perfectly with Pixie's party collection this season.
It's happy Friday today and what better way to kick start your weekend than to the sounds of the hottest bands at LOVEBOX. The line up is huge and includes the likes of Ms Dynamite, Zinc, Jodie Harsh, Kelis, Shy FX, Peaches on the decks, Katy B and wait for it...Snoop Dogg performing "Doggy style Live." Oh yes! Pixie's Got Girl Power
Pixie is back and we're sure you'll agree that she looks A-MAZING!!! Pixie's returned with a hot new single, "All About Tonight" that we just can't stop singing at Lipsy HQ! We love the new statement attitude, its real girl power and new the video is so cool...Her voice just seems to get better and better every time.
We've got some snap pics from the scene's to show you her re-invented star style. Pixie's gone for berry lips to show off her pretty pout, which is so this season and in keeping with the French Beauty trends. The start of the music video see's her walking in slow motion so, you get a good look at her model pins! She has also opted for a flirty LBD to compliment her new look.
Not to mention her new hairdo! She looks very chic. It's a clean cut that shows off her lovely smile and is a versatile shape so, she can do centre partings, rock a fringe or just flick her hair to one side, we love love love it! Still as adorable as ever, we think Pixie's a true fashionista and looks even more glamorous and beautiful in her new video than ever before.

Welcome to Miami
We may have got soaked at Lovebox yesterday but, it was so worth it! Kelis was amazing and looked bang on trend with her side pony fro and sequin two piece outfit. Snoop Dogg blew us away on Saturday with his controversial Doggystyle set, performing old classics like 'Gin N Juice.' We're still on a festival high here at Lipsy after a smashing weekend.
Even though we got drenched over the last couple of days rocking to the sounds of some of the hottest stars at Lovebox, in Miami summer has officially begun with the Mercedes Benz Miami Fashion Week. It kicked off for the seventh year running this week, setting the trends for your essential swimwear for 2012. Our Lipsy spies gave us the lowdown and it seems that Bohemia pushes through again for next year, whilst the metallic look and statement hues give you the ultimate in pool side glamour.
We spotted Cheetah Girl Adrienne Bailon and The City star Louise Roe amongst the fashionistas taking in the Miami heat; plus Christina Neault the Executive Producer of the event for IMG Fashion shared her excitement about the Miami take on style. "This season is one the most exciting to date; Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim is bringing its most international roster of swimwear designers yet. The swimwear industry is such a rapidly growing market worldwide and we are happy to provide a platform for designers to travel from across the world to show their collections."
