As London Fashion week drew to a close and the fashion pack moved onto Milan it was time for pop (and rock) royalty to descend on the capital for The Brit awards! Two of the Lipsy girls were very lucky enough to go along and even managed to join the celebs on record label Universal's after party boat - dressed in Lipsy of course! The girls opted for two very different but equally amazing dresses; the black classic texture bodycon and the Hedonia puff dress.
The ceremony itself was jam packed with performances from lots of British and international favourites. The highlights had to be Adele and Rihanna; both had the crowd on their feet including the Lipsy girls and Florence Welsh, who was spotted dancing (like crazy) with her friends close to the stage during Rihanna's AMAZING 'We Found Love' performance! There was definitely a friendly vibe in the air as Jessie J rushed to congratulate Ed Sheernan after he won Best Britisih Break Through Act despite Jessie J being nominated too!
When it came to the dresses, it was all about full length! With Kylie, Florence, Adele, Jessie J and Nicole Scherzinger all opting for this ultra glam style. Jade from Little Mix also looked cute wearing a Lipsy Spring must-have; the boucle suit.
Now to the ultimate fashion parade - The Oscars...

The capital was even more of a fashion frenzy than usual this week with London Fashion Week taking over! The cobbles of Somerset House (home to LFW) were awash with fashion journalists, designers, bloggers and of course some very stylish celebs! It may have been raining over the weekend but it didn't put a dampener on some of the super cool outfits on show - queue lashings of colour with bold and bright dresses and colour pop bags!
We spotted American Vogue editor Anna Wintour, Olivia Palmero, Alexa Chung, Jameela Jamil, Nicola Roberts and our friend Pixie Lott stepping in and out of shows! The boucle suit is a soon to be Spring staple, with Rochelle from The Saturdays and Jade from Little Mix already stepping out in this chic Lipsy beauty! For catwalk inspiration we love how Rose Byrne has clashed her classic suit with a colour pop bag!
A blazer is the backbone in every fashionistas working wardrobe however this season it's reworked with a flash of colour - we love how how Olivia Palmero wears hers!
The fashion pack are known for their love of black but the girls at the Marchesa front row (Petra Nemcova, and Bar Rafeali to name but a few!) looked stunning and really stood out with their block colour dresses in bold jewel tones.

Beyonce returns with another show stopping collection from her uber cool label House of Dereon.
S/S 12 marks the second collection from Beyonce and her mum Tina, considering the massive cult following it's pretty hard to believe House of Dereon is still so new.
This season the prints are bold, the colours are bright and the shapes are fierce - we wouldn't expect anything less from the icon herself! With an influx of blue tones, it seems Beyonce's new baby (Blue Ivy) may have had a strong influence on her mums designs! The gold shimmer strap dress became iconic after Beyonce was photographed wearing it, this season bets are on the colour block dress to be the star piece!
When it comes to finishing touches let the dresses do the talking and keep accessories minimal, think black platforms and opt for one statement piece of jewellery such as a spiked bangle or bold stretch ring.

With an office full of ladies and a love of all things pink there was no escaping Valentine's Day at Lipsy HQ! From sweetie competitions to a romantic candlelit lunch in the boardroom - single or not, love was most definitely in the air!
Red lippy at the ready! Come Valentine's morning the Lipsy girls were hogging the mirror perfecting their pouts with the theme of the day - red lips! The very handsome Davide handed out chocolate roses to everyone before heading to the Lipsy Valentine's press day to welcome some very important guests!
Everyone loved the cocktails (courtesy of Pink Pigeon), Valentine's themed nibbles and balloon bouquets! With adorable Summer separates and super cute day dresses galore the press were spoiled for choice. Rachael from Reveal picked out the pink sequin shorts as her favourite and Clare from Cosmo loved the pastel panel dress with wave detail!
The very gorgeous Jess Wright popped in with her mum Carol straight from a visit to the dentist for a peek at S/S 12 and visited our on hand HOB stylists before picking out the floral maxi as a summer staple.

This season all eyes are on the waist as the peplum becomes the hottest silhouette this Spring. Pushing minimalism to the side the fashion pack have fallen for this trend big time, peplum detail featured on skirts, dresses, jackets and even trousers on the S/S 12 catwalks! Peplums are great for showcasing your curves and highlighting your waist, feminine frills and layered lace give a real edge to the classic shift dress.
Glee's Dianna Argon kept it simple with a black peplum dress whilst quirky Emma Stone injected some colour with a hot pink peplum dress. If full on peplum seems a little daunting then opt for a peplum skirt and team with a simple chic top.
Less is most definitely more when it comes to accessories, our staple killer heels and beaded clutch are spot on for peplum perfection.

The very beautiful and newly engaged Rochelle from The Saturdays (have you seen her ring?! WOW) popped into Lipsy HQ for a catch up and to take a look at our new S/S12 collections. If you're looking for laid back casual perfection then Rochelle is spot on, her Lipsy Biker Jacket teamed with a cream blouse is effortlessly chic.
It was a busy week for Rochelle as her and Tulisa also hit the town for a girly night out. Tulisa was spotted once again with the Lipsy dome bag - a new favourite perhaps? Rose gold is a key trend this season spotted in lots of catwalk accessories, the Lipsy dome bag features shiny rose gold trims! Team with a bodycon black dress just like Tulisa for a classic glam look.
X Factor lovely Amelia Lily is busy preparing for the upcoming X Factor tour at the moment and was spotted performing at a gig in the Lipsy bow playsuit. Playsuits are a great alternative to dresses - just add heels!
