Lipsy Model Search - The Finalist Party
Find out the winner of our model search at next week's Finalist Party - featuring a special guest appearance by The Wanted.
Get your best Lipsy dress and killer heels on and hotfoot it down to Movida on Tuesday 7 September, where hot new boy band The Wanted will announce the face of Lipsy's first ever fragrance!
The boys will also be treating us to a performance on the night - we are uber-excited about seeing our chiselled favourites Max and Siva...And, as with every Lipsy party, it'll be a night of full-on glamour and fun!
Tickets cost £25 and can be bought on the website here .Guests will also receive a voucher, worth £18, which can be redeemed against a 30ml bottle of the gorgeous new fragrance 'Lipsy - In the Spotlight'.

Lipsy Model Search - the finalists!
It all started months ago, when our Facebook fans told us that we didn't need a celeb to front our first ever fragrance - there were plenty of Lipsy girls up for the job.
So, we opened up the search to make one lucky Lipsy girl the star of the campaign, and hundreds of entries and thousands of votes later, we have our finalists!
Earlier this week the three girls with the most votes on Facebook - Louise, Kreura, Afrora - and three 'wildcards' - Evelyn, Courtenay and Emina - chosen by the Lipsy judges, travelled to London for their photoshoots.
The girls came from all over the country, with Evelyn from Edinburgh and Afrora from Belfast, and from all sorts of backgrounds - Kreura is training to be a barrister and Courtenay has just finished filming as a new character in Shameless!
Model behaviour
To help the gorgeous girls get into a VIP state of mind , we put them up in an equally gorgeous hotel and treated them to food and drinks in the Champagne Bar before letting them get their beauty sleep.
On the day, the finalists were given the full treatment by our team of expert hairdressers, make-up artists and stylists, before posing for professional model shots and strutting their stuff down the catwalk for our video. They worked it like pros!
After a long day they were able to unwind, in true celebrity style, with some retail therapy at our Brent Cross store. Each walked away with a show-stopping outfit for the Finalist Party and a selection of other Lipsy items to see them through the new season.
Pssst...The winner has already been back to shoot for the Lipsy fragrance campaign, but our lips are glossed and sealed as to who the lucky lady is....

Shopping between the seasons
While there are still a few warm weeks ahead, we know that you can't wait to get your hands on our fashion-forward autumn/winter collection.
The perfect solution? Between-season investment pieces. Not only can you wear them now, but with a few outfit tweeks they'll be wardrobe staples for a/w too.
Be a savvy shopper and snap up these transitional items:
Faux fur gilet - a key item for a/w, channel Chanel in this soft faux fur gilet. Get the Alexa Chung look with a vest top, shorts, socks and clogs, and layer over a long-sleeved top and skinnies for a snug winter outfit.
Black wellies - staple festival footwear, our studded biker and wedge wellies look great with denim short-shorts. And if this winter is going to be anything like the last, they'll also prove pretty handy when we get snowed in!

Vote for Lipsy in the Company Fashion Awards 2010
We're very happy to have been nominated for not just one, but two awards in the Company Fashion Awards this year. Yay Lipsy!

The Lipsy model search continues
Remember when we told you about our Lipsy Model Search - a hunt to find the face of new Lipsy fragrance, 'In the Spotlight'? Well the competition is getting hotter than the front row at a Justin Bieber concert. Thousands of gorgeous Lipsy girls have already entered the spotlight through our Facebook page. We always knew you were a beautiful bunch!
It's no surprise the competition has proved so popular, as the prize is fantastic. The lucky winner will receive a £2,500 Lipsy winter wardrobe, get £2,500 in cash, and win a weekend for two in Paris. As if that wasn't enough, they'll also be crowned as the first ever Miss Lipsy - and with it get a place in the finals of Miss England 2011.
While we've loved seeing your pictures (and we want you to keep them coming), it's nothing like meeting you in person - and that's why we've decided to get out and about to do some scouting ourselves. So if you think you've got what it takes to be the new face of Lipsy, why not come and meet us?

Get the celebrity look
Shopping for a party outfit and need some celeb-style inspiration? Then look no further! We'll show you how to recreate two recent looks we just love; those of Cameron Diaz and Nina Dobrev. Get their style and you won't look out of place at any glitzy premiere - even if the furthest you're going is a local club.
Cameron's a girl after our own heart - she proves that you can still be glamorous, while not being afraid to take it short. Get her one-shoulder LBD look for yourself with our sexy corsage dress, and don't forget to finish it off with something fabulous from the Lipsy watch collection, like this diamante logo croc strap watch.
Nina Dobrev, star of The Vampire Diaries, really impressed with this wow-factor party outfit. We loved her little bustier top with its pink tutu-style skirt so much, we had to find out a way to get the look for ourselves. Luckily, Lipsy obliges with its lace strapless corset and wire-hem ballerina skirt. Add some pretty flower earrings and you'll be the belle of any ball.

Spotted: celebs love Lipsy
Our spies have been out and about, tracking down the celebrities putting their own spin on some of our favourite Lipsy items this week.
First up is Pixie Lott. The dainty singer, a Lipsy girl through-and-through, was spotted looking bang on-trend in this funky, 70s inspired lace dress. Pixie's carrying her own beautiful pink tote bag, but if you're looking for something similar try our bow detail version. This girl really has got her manicured finger on the fashion pulse as the dress isn't even available yet, but it's coming soon - so watch this space!
Nude pink is such a hot trend at the moment, and it looks like Sophie Anderton agrees. The former model was papped while out shopping in the pale pink Burnout heart vest, while chatting on her phone - complete with its stylish diamante Lipsy cover, available soon. Well, why shouldn't your phone be as well-dressed as you are?
Kimberley Wyatt is also loving the nude pink trend, with her Lipsy ruffle frill dress with lace trim. But we love the way she's added a bit of rock to her outfit with the studs on her pyramid detail clutch bag, and finished off the look with a crystal diamante watch.
