Lipsy are proud to present Millie Mackintosh for Lipsy VIP! Lipsy VIP is a collection of limited edition dresses that are that extra bit special and perfect for occasions (or red carpets). The collection features stunning thigh-splitting gowns and strapless princess style party dresses in hot pinks and subtle champagne hues.
Millie looks gorgeous modelling the collection - it's difficult to pick a favourite! Take a look at some of the dresses below and make sure you check out the behind the scenes photos and watch the video to see the gorgeous dresses and Millie in more detail.
Mid shoot we spoke to Millie to find out her take on this season's fashion, getting ready for a night out and to find out the goss with her and celebrity beau Professor Green...
If you had to pick one favourite dress from the VIP collection which would it be?
I love the ruffle front pink/nude dress with embellishment at the waist. As soon as I put it on it hugged my body in all the right places, it's exactly the type of colour that I usually go for and I instantly felt sexy and glam in it.
Are you more of a high street or designer girl?
I normally team my designer accessories, like shoes and handbags with high street clothing. I always get complemented on my Lipsy knitwear.
How many Lipsy dresses do you own?
Too many to fit in my wardrobe!
How long does it take you to get ready for a night out?
Usually an hour and a half. An hour to do my hair and then half an hour to do my make up. I'm quite organised, so I usually know before hand what I'm going to wear.
Does your boyfriend (Professor Green) prefer you dressed up or down?
If we're at home together he likes to see me casual with no make up. I'm usually in soft jeggings and a sexy loose knit. But if were going on a night out he likes to know that I've made the effort to look glam just for him.
Do you ever swap clothes with best friend Caggie Dunlop?
Yes, but I never get them back when she borrows them.
Does she have anything in her wardrobe you secretly covet?
Yes! All my clothes back. She also owns a pair of gorgeous neon heels that I would love to wear but she is a different size to me.
What's your favourite trend for S/S 12 and why?
70's bohemia, it's an effortless summer look that never goes out of style.
You're interning at a fashion magazine at the moment, is this a career path you'd like to continue on?
I'm enjoying it at the minute because I'm learning something new all the time. Whilst I'm learning I'm happy. But I'm not to sure what the future has instore at the moment.
Finally, why do you love Lipsy?
The brand always makes such great eveningwear and I love the exclusivity of the VIP collection - all of the dresses would be perfect for any red carpet event!

As London Fashion week drew to a close and the fashion pack moved onto Milan it was time for pop (and rock) royalty to descend on the capital for The Brit awards! Two of the Lipsy girls were very lucky enough to go along and even managed to join the celebs on record label Universal's after party boat - dressed in Lipsy of course! The girls opted for two very different but equally amazing dresses; the black classic texture bodycon and the Hedonia puff dress.
The ceremony itself was jam packed with performances from lots of British and international favourites. The highlights had to be Adele and Rihanna; both had the crowd on their feet including the Lipsy girls and Florence Welsh, who was spotted dancing (like crazy) with her friends close to the stage during Rihanna's AMAZING 'We Found Love' performance! There was definitely a friendly vibe in the air as Jessie J rushed to congratulate Ed Sheernan after he won Best Britisih Break Through Act despite Jessie J being nominated too!

When it came to the dresses, it was all about full length! With Kylie, Florence, Adele, Jessie J and Nicole Scherzinger all opting for this ultra glam style. Jade from Little Mix also looked cute wearing a Lipsy Spring must-have; the boucle suit.
Now to the ultimate fashion parade - The Oscars...
Thu 23 Feb 2012

The capital was even more of a fashion frenzy than usual this week with London Fashion Week taking over! The cobbles of Somerset House (home to LFW) were awash with fashion journalists, designers, bloggers and of course some very stylish celebs! It may have been raining over the weekend but it didn't put a dampener on some of the super cool outfits on show - queue lashings of colour with bold and bright dresses and colour pop bags!
We spotted American Vogue editor Anna Wintour, Olivia Palmero, Alexa Chung, Jameela Jamil, Nicola Roberts and our friend Pixie Lott stepping in and out of shows! If you're schedule is as hectic as theirs then shop the London Fashion Week edit - a rundown of the key essentials to stay stylish and take you from day to night this season.

The boucle suit is a soon to be Spring staple, with Rochelle from The Saturdays and Jade from Little Mix already stepping out in this chic Lipsy beauty! For catwalk inspiration we love how Rose Byrne has clashed her classic suit with a colour pop bag!

A blazer is the backbone in every fashionistas working wardrobe however this season it's reworked with a flash of colour - we love how how Olivia Palmero wears hers!

The fashion pack are known for their love of black but the girls at the Marchesa front row (Petra Nemcova, and Bar Rafeali to name but a few!) looked stunning and really stood out with their block colour dresses in bold jewel tones.

Get the look: X Factor finalists

X Factor girls all in Lipsy!
By the time this post goes live, we'll have our new X-Factor champion, but whoever takes the title, this year has been an overall winner in the style stakes (we're choosing to overlook Wagner).
The two gorgeous girls in the final couldn't have more opposing styles - Rebecca is all about Sixties' chic and girly pieces and Cher bold outfits with an urban edge - but they each own their individual looks.
As the singers have both been spotted shopping at Lipsy - Rebecca even modelled for us in Liverpool back in 2008 - we've played stylist to pick out pieces we think could make it into their wardrobes.
Cher

Cher in Lipsy Diamante Skull Hoodie - Buy now!
Cher may have seemed fragile at points throughout this year's show, but she's sure got a strong voice and fierce sense of fashion. A hip hop and rap girl at heart, she loves Eighties-inspired street style - think baggy, bright and bold.
The Miss Sixty tiger print top ticks all these boxes and would make for great day wear, teamed with skinny jeans or leggings and slouch boots. And the edgy chain print cowl neck top and tattoo rose vest would also suit her urban leanings.
For the evening, the sequin-detail stripe cropped top and Killah star-detail one-shoulder dress scream stand-out attitude, just like Cher, and would look fab paired with a tough cropped biker jacket.
And of course Miss Lloyd is rarely seen without an oversized statement bag on her shoulder, so the pink velour Lipsy charm bag would make the perfect accessory.
Rebecca

Rebecca's style is so classy that she seems to be from another era - Sixties' chic is the Liverpudlian lass all over.
Black and neutral shift dresses really suit her sleek look and our Pixie lace smock top, bow detail shift and pleated angle sleeve dress have that vintage vibe down to a tee.
When it comes to party-wear, Rebecca loves girly frills and cute bows, and the pretty pink studded bow detail dress and Ci Ci floral fringe dress would look stunning on her.
As retro-glamour leopard print is huge this season, no doubt we'll see Rebecca keeping warm in a must-have leopard print faux fur coat soon, and our leopard box clutch would help finish off the look in style.
Konnie loves Lipsy too!

Konnie Huq in Lipsy One-shoulder tulip skirt dress - Buy now!
Rebecca and Cher aren't the only X Factor stars to have shown a bit of love for Lipsy of late. The gorgeous Konnie Huq has been spotted in our
one-shoulder tulip skirt dress and wore the to our
embellished front strapless dress Pixie launch party back in September.

Dresses to invest in

Christmas dos offer the perfect excuse to invest in a couple of new dresses, but shop smartly now and you could be wearing your new party-perfect pieces well into next year.
We take a peek at the looks that are going to be big for s/s11 to help you pick the dresses worth investing in.
Animal print
Christopher Bailey paired slinky leopard print party dresses with tough biker jackets for Burberry Prorsum's s/s11 shows - the perfect way to keep your wild-side alive when it's too warm to wear your favourite leopard faux fur coat.
Invest in Pixie's favourite lace panel animal print shift dress or the super-sexy animal print ruched dress.
Lace detailing
While Christopher Kane and Erdem brightened up lace for s/s11 with neon brights, red and whites, black dresses with lace detailing are still very much in abundance in next year's hottest collections, with Karl Lagerfeld just one of the major fashion forces championing the dramatic look.
Invest in the Lipsy lace panelled dress, Pixie lace top smock dress or the Pixie low-back lace dress - backless dresses only add to the drama of this look.
1960s shifts
1960s styles are huge at the moment and will remain equally influential in 2011. Follow in the footsteps of Alexa Chung and create cute outfits with shift dresses, Peter Pan collars and Mary Janes - the perfect look to take you from day to night.
Invest in the bow detail shift or the beaded bow neckline shift for versatile style.
Maxi dresses
Long dresses of the floaty and floral variety brought the 1970s boho look to the catwalks of D&G, Matthew Williamson and Erdem at s/s11 Fashion Weeks. Column dresses in minimal black and neutrals will also form the basis of on-trend looks well into next season.
Invest in the VIP printed beaded maxi dress, the perfect affordable alternative to designer dresses, or the elegant cross-over bust embellished or one shoulder beaded maxis.

Mollie King wears Lipsy in LA
Mollie King was spotted wearing her favourite Lipsy pieces in LA as The Saturdays shot the video for their new single 'Higher' last month.
The girls enjoyed some fun in the sun before getting down to the hard work, indulging in some retail therapy, biking and blading at celeb hotspot Venice Beach, and eating out USA-style - pancakes and maple syrup for breakfast anyone?

Marvin, from JLS, flew out to join girlfriend Rochelle on the trip and will no doubt have been caught on camera by the ever-present film crew of The Saturdays' new ITV2 reality TV series 24/7. We must admit that we're totally addicted to this already - the girls have so much fun, and always do it in style!

In true sun-seeker fashion, Mollie wore our failsafe LWD - the ric rac bow dress - on the beach, and accessorised with her favourite straw hat and a skinny tan belt. Such a cute rollerblading outfit - and with the dress now in the sale for just £30, you can get her look at half the price!

The blonde singer even looked good at the airport, pairing a rock chic vest top with skinny jeans, heeled sandals and our waterfall zipped front jacket. Now that's what we call travelling in style.

Frassy's fashion masterclass
Fashion blogger Audrey Leighton, aka Frassy, has been featured in Vogue, Elle and Grazia, to name but a few fashion bibles, and is constantly snapped by the best street style photographers. Here she tells Lipsy what she'll be wearing in the new season and how she stamps her own unique style on every outfit she puts together.

What's hot
Comfy layering, the standard military-inspired boots and marl grey are the kind of staples that stay loyal to every autumn/winter season. But what's exciting is the surge of tempting new trends coming our way: crisp and clean styles are emerging as the must-have looks.
I'll be adapting Dizzee's mantra, "Fix Up, Look Sharp", by investing in these a/w trends:
The print: Think Blondie in New York circa 1960s - coloured lips and a fiery feline print. Invest in a leopard-print coat or on an oversized animal-print scarf - yum.
The colour: Who needs a Valentine in February with red - this season's hot-as-passion it-colour. I'm coveting a blood-red woolly bandeau dress to pair with slouchy leathers and vintage blazers.
The coat: Consider the overcoat. Oversized, deliciously baggy, the king of all coats and one you can lose your limbs in. As for colour, I'll be headed neutral-way; camel, taupe, sand or military green.
The socks: Ah, the poor sock, an often-neglected ensemble component. Pull them up, past kneesville, or all the way to thighland. The bigger, bulkier and woollier, the better.

Own your look
In fashion, it's important to own your look - have a unique take on a trend and an original twist on an outfit.
I almost always embellish my looks with the magic of accessorises. I usually wear something on my head, from hats (oh how I love hats) to headbands, a big backcombed bun or even just an extra-large feather to pin to my ponytail.
Finger bling is another trusty trick: Spice up those paws with a selection of rings. The beauty of rings is that, unlike other jewellery, you can never wear too many.
Nails have also become a big deal trend of late, and it looks like painted paws is a look that's here to stay. Channel Katy Perry and visualise your nails as miniature canvases. Be artistic; from polka dots, through decals, to the Minx nail craze.
Finally, let me introduce you to my best friend: the blazer - they go with everything! Snap up crazy-print styles plus a couple of classics (navy, black, cream) and wear them over any outfit - from a maxi to a mini to a band tee and shorts. Call me old-fashioned, but a little casual tailoring goes a long, long way outfit-wise.
My Lipsy Picks
My Lipsy trend tips for a/w? Grey, embellishment, drape-detail and asymmetric styles. I'm currently coveting these beauties:
Embellished maxi dress - Perfect with a blazer and oversized scarf for transitional season dressing.
Embellished shoulder drape dress - I'd pair this beauty with black towering platforms and a long silk kimono.
Embellished one-shoulder mesh dress - I am dying to wear a dress like this for my 21st birthday party, with an abundance of lavish cocktail rings and a pink bob wig.
Asymmetric jersey mini dress - With a black turban headband and smoky eye makeup, this would scream Catherine Baba - my all time fashion icon.
One-shoulder drape dress - Delicious colour, beautiful tailoring- I'd add one of my Moschino belts, a pair of ridiculously high heels & a dark blazer to create a Frassy-Lipsy ensemble.

Shop the new Pixie collection now!
Following the success of her best-selling debut fashion ranges earlier this year, Pixie is back with her a/w collection, exclusive to Lipsy! "I'm having such great fun turning my style ideas into an actual fashion range so am really excited to be launching my second collection," Pixie says."This time I've taken style inspiration from some of my favourite style icons like Briget Bardot and Edie Sedgwick and what I love to wear out with my friends."
The 25-piece collection is again made up of two distinct ranges, this time 'Pixie Rocks' and 'Pixie Party'. And judging by the success of her s/s10 party dresses, you'll be pleased to know that there are loads more night-out pieces to choose from! In-keeping with this season's top catwalk styles, Pixie has kept the colour palette in her collection simple, with intricate detailing adding interest.

Pixie Rocks
Pixie Rocks is the perfect capsule wardrobe for those who love their look tough but trend-led: The studded biker and shaggy fur jacket will reinvent any outfit, and stud, lace and chain embellishments add edge to some party-perfect pieces. Our favourites from the range have to be the vintage-style sequin crop top, chain-detail halter and sexy black lace playsuit. There are some fab chiffon and lace day dresses too - just add rock-star style with knee-highs, layered accessories and statement jacket!

Pixie Party
Whilst still drawing heavily on the classic style achieved with simple black and white pieces, Pixie Party injects a few wilder pieces into the collection with a fierce animal print bandeau number and a bold asymmetrical graphic print dress. Delicate embellishments, lace detail and drape and ruched effect make for some stunning LBDs - and LWDs - and the neutral and nude prom dresses will be just perfect for those Christmas parties!
Pixie's love of all things vintage has also been translated into the cream faux fur jacket, which would glam-up any outfit.

Style insider picks
We caught up with those in the industry know at our Pixie Press Day to find out which pieces the fashion professionals are lusting over from the new range:
Lottie Rose, freelance fashion assistant: I love the nude feather-detail dress from Pixie Party and the jumpsuit and cropped sequin top from Pixie Rocks - I'd wear the top with high-waisted shorts.
Natasha Guiotto, fashion assistant, Cosmopoliton: The Pixie Rocks range is more my style - I really like the leather jacket and fringing details.
Tor Brierley, fashion blogger: I love the lace-up black bodycon dress and the fur jackets. It's really good quality faux fur.
Charlotte Pennington, fashion manager, Cosmopoliton: The cream and black shift dress is lovely. I'd wear it with leggings and heels.
Kat Perriam, clubbing editor @ ibizacalling.com: I love the Pixie Rocks range, especially the studded leather jacket which would be the perfect piece to add edge to a cute little dress.
Victoria Pindar, sales executive, Cosmopolitan: My favourite piece is the bandeau animal-print dress, which I'd wear with killer heels and a faux fur jacket.

Pixie previews her new collection in Broken Arrow video
Channelling the 1970's boho vibe highlighted as one of this season's
top trends, Pixie Lott rocks a shaggy fur jacket from her a/w10 Lipsy
collection in the video for new single 'Broken Arrow'.
Taking design direction from the likes of Chanel, D&G and
Burberry Prorsum, Pixie's fantasy fur jacket is bang on trend and a
real statement piece. We're expecting it to fly to the top of our
best-seller list, so make sure to snap yours up quickly when the collection launches on 28 September!
Pixie continues with the 70's theme throughout the video, going for
gorgeous Hollywood glamour in a wide-brimmed floppy hat, pearl-detailed
black swing jacket and her favourite - the vintage cream shift dress.
As usual she gets the accessorises just right with over-the-knee socks
- we certainly haven't seen the last of this trend - and her trademark
layered jewellery.
There's also plenty of romantic nudes and chiffons on show,
in-fitting with the heartfelt nature of the ballad as well as the
season's most-hyped styles.
And with natural, glowing make-up and glossy hair, Pixie looks as
though she's walked straight off the a/w10 catwalks and into the video
shoot - truly a girl with her finger on the fashion and beauty pulse!
Broken Arrow is out on 11 October, ahead of the release of the
re-packaged edition of Pixie's hit debut album 'Turn It Up (Louder)' -
can't wait for this! Oh, and our favourite pop princess has been
nominated in the Best Female Artist category for the 2010 BT Digital Music Awards, so don't forget to vote!

New season style: Enchantment

We know it's only July but the fashion world is always one step ahead, and the prospect of autumn doesn't seem quite so bad now we've seen the fabulous new season styles coming our way.
As championed on the catwalks, autumn/winter looks move towards a more muted colour palette to create soft, vintage-inspired pieces in floaty materials that can only be described as enchanting.
Fairytale frocks
Developing the fashion story from spring/summer, romantic maxi styles and 1950s full skirts remain key, with Marc Jacobs, Paul Smith and Ralph Lauren among the designers to showcase flowing sheer and chiffon pieces at London Fashion Week.
Wear our asymmetric frill maxi dress with must-have clogs and loose, messy hair for new season sophistication.
Lovely in lace
Valentino, Christopher Kane and D&G prove that lace also remains important in a/w, going gothic with statement black lace dresses.
"Black lace paneling and edging make for a more grown-up lingerie feel this season," say the Lipsy design team. "The mood is prim with a hint of gothic fairytale".
Try our lace bow playsuit and tiered lace drop hem top for a wearable take on the trend and look out for Pixie Lott's new lace designs in her upcoming collection.
A feminine feel
For day-to-night looks, fun and feminine details make this trend a girly girl's dream, with photographic florals, beautiful bows and romantic ruffles heading our way.
The sculpture cap sleeve dress is a real go-to number and the studded bow detail bustier and double panel bow dress combine cuteness and sophistication for a look that's truly irresistible.
Rather than statement jewels, this season we'll see more subtle embellishments, perfect for pretty, girly glamour. Beads are "sprinkled and much more pretty, clustered and delicate for a look that's set to continue through a/w", say our design experts.
Finishing touches
So, what do we need to perfect the enchantment look? Judging by new season previews, the corsage continues to reign supreme, and ballet pumps, a nude leather bag and bow-detail belt are all must-have items.

Kimberly Wyatt introduces Lipsy watches
During the shoot we also managed to grab an exclusive interview with the star herself, which you can watch here:
As we kept spotting Kimberley Wyatt out and about in Lipsy, we knew that she would be the perfect ambassador for our new range - Lipsy watches!
Our party dresses are inspired (and in Pixie Lott's case, designed) by the celebs we love, and the same goes for our growing accessories line, so welcome on board Kim!

The former Pussycat Doll brings a fresh and fun rock-chic vibe to the collection -she says that in group she was the 'punk doll' - and loves mixing and matching looks and masculine and feminine pieces, as well as taking inspiration straight from the catwalk.
In her honour our watches range is edgy, diverse and trend-led with gorgeous charm bracelets and diamante bands, cool cuffs, bright chunky pieces and a whole lot of bling to help you make a style statement whatever you're wearing.
The shoot

As Kim's used to working with stunning stage sets when performing and working as a judge on Sky1's hit show Got to Dance, we chose a fun circus theme for our watches shoot and are so pleased with the end results. We just love how she adds rock chic edge to the pretty bandeau bustier dresses with a slick of red lippy, smokey eyes and fierce hair.

Pixie Lott on her new collection, celebrity friends & plans for the summer

Congratulations on the success of your first collection with Lipsy. Are you happy with how the collection was went?
Yes I'm really happy with the success of the first collection. I think it's amazing to see girls out & about in my clothes. I was in Hyde Park at a Stevie Wonder concert the other day and I saw a girl in my Pom Pom dress and denim waistcoat, I went over to the girl and was like 'wow, you look amazing!' The girl was shocked, it was cool!
Is it strange to see other celebrities in your clothes?
I love it, and I think it's cool to see celebrities showing support towards celebrity clothing lines.
You performed at 'T4 on the Beach' on Sunday, how do you think the performance went? And who did you enjoy seeing at the festival?
T4 on the Beach was great, the crowd were lots of fun and I always enjoy watching Dizzee Rascal. Dizzee's was my favourite performance of the day.
You gave us our very first preview of one of the new pieces from you're A/W collection at T4 on the Beach and we loved it! The playsuit was gorgeous, when can we buy our own?
I absolutely love the playsuit from my new collection. The backless detailing is so sexy and the design allows me to dance & move around easily which is important for me when I'm performing on stage, I like to be comfortable in what I'm wearing. The studded detailing adds a great rock chic edge, and I added gold necklaces to accessorise. I wear chains with everything! The new collection is available at the end of September, I can't wait!
You were recently on a UK tour with Rihanna, how was it to support Rihanna? Were you nervous and did you get any good tips?
Yeah the tour was lots of fun! Rihanna is really friendly and a lovely girl, so I wasn't nervous I was more excited. Rihanna is talented and works very hard, it's paid off for her, so that has inspired me to work harder.
Have you made any celebrity friends whilst performing at the festivals this summer?
You get friendly with most of the artists as we're in the charts together and all tend to hang out together backstage at festivals, it's cool to hangout.
Who's the most famous person in your mobile phone?
Ahhh I'm not sure, I lose my phone a lot, let me see...(Pixie gets out her Blackberry)...I've got Chipmunk, Diana Vickers, Frankie & Rochelle from The Saturdays, Daniel & Natasha Bedingfield, Joe Jonas, Tinie Temper, Louise Spence, Marvin from JLS, Jason Derulo, and Professor Green but I lose my phone a lot so I've lost some numbers!
How was it working with Jason Derulo on your new album, we love him at Lipsy HQ, what's he like?
Jason Derulooooo! He's lovely, he's such a talented guy and very professional, I learnt a lot from him.
What are your plans for the summer?
Besides festivals, I'm going back to America to work and then I'm going on a girls holiday with friends.
Do you have any holiday essentials?
My holiday essentials are definitely sunscreen, my Raybans and my new Lipsy bikini's and Lipsy beach bag.
And what's your 2010 summer anthem?
It's got to be Jason Derulo Riding Solo, 'I'm putting on my shades to cover up my eyes...'

US superstar Kelly Rowland chats to Lipsy!

How would you describe your style?
I'd describe my style as varied. I tend dress for my mood and love to vary my style from classy to edgy. I like to mix designer with high street brands. I love the British high street and love Lipsy; everyone has such great style in the UK.
What's your most extravagant fashion purchase?
I recently purchased a pair of shoes by Nicholas Kirkwood for Rodarte which are amazing, however they were rather expensive!
How long does it take you to get ready for a night out?
I normally take around 2 hours to get ready for a night out.
Do you have any fashion tips for Lipsy girls?
Always be comfortable in what you are wearing otherwise it will show.
Do you have any beauty tips for Lipsy girls?
I love false eyelashes and can't leave the house without a pair these days! They've turned into my must-have essential.
Favourite hangout?
When I'm over in the UK I like to party at Movida or Chinawhites.
What are you most looking forward to most this summer?
I'm really excited to travel this summer promoting my new single, 'Commander'.
What are your summer essentials?
I never travel without sunscreen or my bible.
If you weren't a famous singer, what would you be?
A teacher.
Do you have any tips for people you want to get into music?
My tip would be to just go for it, but be aware that the industry isn't as glamourous as it seems and there's a lot of hard work involved. If you want a career in music you have to really work for it and it will pay off in the end.
Do you have a message for the Lipsy girls?
My message for the Lipsy girls is to simply have fun! I don't over-think things in life and I always pray to keep my focus in life.

Electrify your holiday wardrobe with scorching summer prints that will help you make a style statement. This season it's all about graphic and digital prints, adding a futuristic edge to summer party dresses. Chose from our favourite season-essential pieces:
Graphic
This summer's psychedelic digital prints, graphic florals and tropical colours make for the perfect holiday go-to dresses, taking you from beach-bar to club in stand-out style. Check out our one-shoulder slinky dress in vibrant, abstract print and the gorgeous beaded pocket bustier dress, updating the oversized floral trend. Or become a water goddess in the aqua-coloured strapless sweetheart dress - a great tan enhancer.

Animal Print
Wild-child animal print was championed at Clothes Show London's Fashion Theatre last weekend, underlining that this trend is here to stay for the summer. Try Pixie's strapless oversized animal print dress for pop-star style or go monochrome in the zebra print panel strapless dress, incorporating the underwear as outerwear look with pretty lace hem.

Sizzling Separates
With prints so bold, you only need one piece to make a statement, so create unique outfits with separates. Pair our graphic gathered panel skirt with a vest top - don't be afraid to clash prints - or wear the sequin print drop-hem vest with denim shorts - the perfect lo-fi look for festivals and Ibiza's top club nights.

Get ready for another round of audible swooning, brooding looks and consuming vampire/werewolf lust, as Twilight Eclipse premieres next week! Being closet Twi-hards ourselves, we're getting a bit giggly about it already - we can't wait to see how Edward and Jacob deal with the murderous army of vampires who are indulging their blood lust in Seattle, or how the ultimate love triangle develops!
While we could talk about Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner all day - sometimes we do - we're also developing style crushes on the female stars of the Twilight saga.
Kristen Stewart has really come into her own in the style stakes. While always shimmering and sparkling on the red carpet, her look retains an underlying rock chic edge that was no doubt further inspired by her roll as American rocker Joan Jett in 'The Runaways' earlier this year.
The key to this look is all in the eclectic mixing and matching - be it textures, colours or materials - as well as the less-is-more approach to accessorising and beauty.

Pair our romantic lace body with the tiered mesh skirt and wear with black nail varnish for that glam vamp look. Or make a show-stopping statement in our tri-colour VIP bustier sequin dress, adding edge - Kristen doesn't like to look too prim and proper - with a messy up-do, chunky belt and strappy killer heels.
When it comes to off-duty style, R-Patz's real-life squeeze lives in vest tops and jeans, and has recently been spotted rocking the distressed and double denim trends, with dark shades to finish the lo-fi look.
Anna Kendrick - who plays Bella's friend Jessica Stanley - has also cropped up on our style radar, having been championed by fashion bible Vogue, and named as one of Glamour magazine's 'Faces to watch 2010'.

Anna seems to have two sides of her style personality - nailing classic Hollywood girly glamour in nude and cream fairytale frocks, but also showing that she's also a fun fashionista in colourful trend-led pieces. We love this cream feather bandeau dress and the fierce print on the red number proves that she's a bit of a wild child at heart. Get the look with our VIP sequin bust feather dress and the Pixie lace bodice dress.

Tulisa and Rochelle wear Lipsy @ Isle of Wight Festival

Tulisa from N-Dubz and The Saturdays' Rochelle were both spotted in Lipsy as the Isle of Wight kicked off the summer festival season. Tulisa performed on the Big Top stage in the VIP bustier feather dress, while Rochelle toughened up our new one shoulder maxi dress with biker boots backstage.
Speaking before they made their festival debut, The Saturdays' laughed about having to get the ferry over to the island, rather than being flown in by VIP helicopter as headliner Jay-Z had. Rochelle also said that things between her and boyfriend - JLS's Marvin - are going so well that they're starting to look at houses together.
Other highlights from the sun-soaked celeb-fest, which saw Kate Moss let her hair down on a fairground ride and Alexa Chung and Pixie Geldof catch up in a VIP beer garden, included Pink's high-energy acrobatic set and Kayne West's surprise guest appearance for 'Run This Town' with Jay-Z . Loved it!
Were you at the festival? Did you spot any other celebs in Lipsy? Let us know!

A pretty prom dress is the obvious choice for a big night out or an important party, but which style do you choose to best suit your shape? Follow our style guide to find your perfect party dress.
Boyish:
If you're slender with a small bust and narrow hips, take a tip from Kristen Stewart's book and create a more feminine shape with texture and volume. Try our low back lace prom dress with netted skirt - now just £30 - or the Eighties-style bow-skirt dress with structured skirt.
.jpg)
Big bust:
For support for larger busts, choose a dress with straps, as well as a plunging neckline or bustier style to show off your assets. Go for the embellished strap babydoll dress with gorgeous gathered bust detail, or the embellished harness dress with structured bustier cups.

Rounded tummy:
To cover those lumps and bumps, try chiffon numbers that will fall flatteringly over problem areas. The VIP wire-frill hem dress will draw attention away from your tummy to the structured skirt detail, while the light material of the jewelled gathered bust dress floats flatteringly from the beaded band down over your midriff.

Pear-shaped:
If you're pear shaped, make the most of your feminine curves by creating smooth lines over your lower half with block-coloured tulip-style skirts such as the beaded pleat skirt dress or strapless jewelled pocket dress. Or accentuate your womanly shape with a dress that nips in at the waist, such as the one-shoulder Grecian dress with waist band.

Ibiza preview - where to party, what to wear
Kat Perriam, Lipsy girl and Clubbing Editor of IbizaCalling.com, previews the hottest club nights and summer trends to take you through the Ibiza party season.

Where to party
Last week saw Ibiza's biggest clubs open their doors for the season's launch parties - so what's new on the scene for 2010?
Over two days, Ibiza's longest-standing club Space hosted around 15,000 clubbers ready to see in the season in style. Carl Cox, Fatboy Slim and Groove Armada were among the DJs getting the crowd pumped and ready for the treats the club has in store, including new Wednesday party 'Kehakuma', and the return of famous daytime party 'We Love'.

Pacha, Ibiza town's most glamourous club, is one of the only places to stay open all year round, but the summer is when it really gets going. This year sees a new night from Chilean DJ Luciano - bringing a mystical blend of deep, latin techno to the club - and also welcomes the return of 'F*** Me I'm Famous', run by Ibiza's very own Posh & Becks, David & Cathy Guetta.
Over in San Antonio, Es Paradis is promising to make this year one of its best yet. With its decedent design and gorgeous gardens, it's the ideal spot for a night of hedonism and this summer not only sees the return of Hed Kandi, but also welcomes new nights such as 'GLAS' (Gay, Lesbian and Straight) - the perfect excuse to pull out all the stops and glam it up!
With the party calendar packed to bursting point for the next four months and a host of new parties popping up all over the island, I wouldn't want to be anywhere else this summer!
What to wear
Ibiza's lavish and carefree attitude means that when it comes to planning what to wear, there are no rules!
The opening parties always offer a good taste of what clubbers will be wearing later in the season and this year saw a mish-mash of styles, proving that Ibiza's boho look is still going strong. Think embellished dresses, aztec prints and lots of fringing and beading. Accessorise with ultra-cool gladiator sandals, headbands and bangles stacked high up the arm.
Lipsy's Ibiza essentials
Don't get on the plane without them!
Grecian goddess dress - Party in style at Ibiza's most glamourous clubs in this gorgeous Grecian dress from Pixie Lott's new collection (more stock to come later this month - reserve now).
Beach cover-up - Hop from beach to bar in this stylish sequin trim kaftan- perfect for frolicking on the beach and cocktails at the bar.
Denim short-shorts - A cute pair of denim hot pants will get you far in Ibiza - pair them with your bikini by day and stacked heels by night.
Wild-child bikini - Look effortlessly stylish as you soak up the Balearic sun with this halterneck zebra print bikini.
Tribal neckpiece - It's all about extravagant accessories and this multi-coin necklace will add instant boho bling.

Our not-so-secret shoe obsession
.jpg)
We have to admit it; here at Lipsy we're a little bit obsessed with shoes. It has to be killer heels at all times - well, perhaps not at festivals - and this season we're matching our footwear with our favourite trends.
We've got fierce studded heels to rock the biker trend, denim platforms for the Americana look and some gorgeous nude shoes to pair with floaty fairytale frocks. The pink strappy heels even incorporate the best of the boudoir trend - loving the bow detail and cross-over corset style.
Our black wedge wellies are also a must-have for the festival season - elongating those summer pins and helping you get a head above the rest!
But we have to say that we're most excited about our take on the shoe trend of the year - clogs! Following in the super-stylish footsteps of Alexa Chung, Chanel and Alexander Wang we've embraced the buckle and won't be taking these beauties off all summer!
Shop all shoes now.

Trend alert: New season nudes

A girly-girl's dream, fairytale frocks are huge this season - a trend that started out on the catwalks. Valentino, Fendi and Dior were among the designers to champion nudes and sugar pinks as the colour palette of spring/summer, using sensual fabrics to create pretty pieces and texture to add interest.
Satins and chiffons and ruches and ruffles are key to this look, and a hint of the underwear as outerwear trend also goes a long way. Wear a nude corset with a ballerina skirt or go for the two-in-one look with the VIP sequin bust feather dress or jewelled vest dress. Go Grecian goddess in the jewelled chiffon dress or add instant romance in the candy pink jersey ruffle skirt.
Feminine details put the finishing touches to the trend, so look out for bling beading along with sequins and cute bows. The chiffon-beaded bandeau dress looks as delicate as candy floss, and our ribbon-toe strappy stilettos are the perfect on-trend shoe.
Keep make-up natural-looking with nude lips and subtly-highlighted cheeks, and accessorise with vintage charms.

Inject some World Cup fever into your wardrobe

We don't know how it happened either, but somehow four years have passed since the last time we got to ogle WAG wardrobes at the World Cup, in Germany.
While some were hooked on every set-piece and penalty, we poured over the style details - from Victoria Beckham's sky-scraping stilettos to Cheryl Cole's teeny tiny shorts.
Now there's less than two weeks to go until it all kicks off again in Cape Town, and if you're anything like us you can't wait for the fashion parade - sorry; football tournament - to start.
Patriotic Lipsy girls will undoubtedly want to get into the spirit and show their support for their team. But how can you do it stylishly - and keep away from those unflattering, over-sized England shirts?
Luckily, Lipsy can help you bring a touch of WAG-style glamour to every game, even if you're just watching it at your local.
Take the sexily stylish Lipsy England vest. Wear it with a great pair of skinny jeans and some killer heels and you've got a look that wouldn't be out of place on David Beckham's arm. Or opt for the more dressed-down style of Carly Cole and go for simple England velour lounge pants and matching hoodie.
And if the mood takes you, you could keep it sexy like Abi Clancy - by wearing Lipsy's England shield vest with some denim shorts and some strappy peep-toed heels.
With this little squad in your wardrobe, you'll be helping to keep it 'the beautiful game'.

Sex and the City 2 - Get the looks
Not since the promise of a newly-buff Taylor Lautner peeling off his shirt in New Moon have we been so excited about a film. We can't wait to do a serious bit of style spotting and catch up with what our favourite NYC girls in SATC2 - two years is too long! But, while the outfits may be different, the fab four are steadfast in their signature styles.
Carrie

The ultimate fashionista, Carrie is always bang on trend and knows exactly how to add cute and girly edge to any outfit. She's loving LWDs and this season's pastel palette in the film - accessorising with summer bling. Go for Grecian chic with our chiffon tiered bandeau dress and Grecian knot hairband. Or pair the net ballerina skirt with a simple body or vest top. Accessorise with a charm bracelet, aviators and this season's 'it' shoe - the clog.
Samantha

Sexy and seductive, Samantha knows how to make the best of her body - by showing it off! It's got to be body-con for this look, and a whole lot of wild child animal print. Go for the figure-hugging ruched lace strappy dress, inspired by Samantha's favourite room - the boudoir - and accessorise with the ring handle snake clutch, hoop earrings and dark sunglasses. And get poolside Sam glam in the gold moulded twist detail bikini.
Charlotte

Ever the romantic, Charlotte's style says a lot about her personality, being timelessly chic and classically feminine. Go for playful prints, girly detail and Jackie O sunglasses. Our tipped ruffle shift dress has Charlotte written all over it, and paired with the bow detail tote bag would make for the perfect garden-party outfit. Oh, and don't forgot the pearls! We can see Charlotte covering up in the oh-so-cute pearl trim cardigan on summer nights.
Miranda

Sleek and sophisticated, Miranda knows what she wants and how to get it, and her style says as much. Pencil skirts, silk blouses and streamlined dresses, this is a straight-talking wardrobe! Team our appliqué lace bow blouse with the lace detail pencil skirt, wear with killer heels and cover up with this season's must-have jacket - the piped belted mac.
Our only qualm about the movie event of the year? Our local big screen doesn't serve Cosmopolitians. But we can't have it all now, can we, and there's always the DVD to watch with the girls...on repeat...

SPOTTED: Celebs in Lipsy
Which celebs have been putting their own spin on their favourite Lipsy items this week?

Pixie Lott was spotted in her white backless lace dress and bleached denim shirt dress - loving the layering - finishing off the boho look with a floral headband and long necklaces.

It seems that The Saturday's Mollie King is also loving the LWD (little white dress) trend. The songstress was papped looking summery in our Wrapover Ric Rac Bow Dress and Suede Waterfall Jacket at a recent celeb event this week.

And Pixie's not the only celeb who's loving her new Lipsy-exclusive ranges. The Pussycat Doll's Kimberly Wyatt recently rocked the oversized animal print dress with a faux fur jacket, biker heels and studded cuff - the perfect outfit to suit her fierce shorn haircut.

While Lipsy may be famous for party dresses, it's clear that the celebs also love our other ranges. Newly-brunette Tulisa from N-Dubz was spotted relaxing backstage at the GMTV studios in a Lipsy logowear tracksuit.

Pixie's festival favourites

When we caught up with Pixie Lott recently she was tres excited about playing V Festival this summer. "I'm playing main stage this year and V's the festival that's nearest to my house so all my friends go," she enthused. "I went two years ago and camped with all my friends and had no idea I'd be performing there the next year and this year to be playing the main stage is great!"
Pixie's been to so many festivals she's a pro at packing, whittling it down to the bare essentials."You need dry shampoo, baby wipes, little snacks and you can't take glass so you have to take a wine box," she said.
And when it comes to festival fashion, the pop princess is all about practical style: "You've definitely got to take wellies and an umbrella and a couple of dresses - go wearing one and pack one in your bag."

Festival fashion - the summer's hottest looks

The festival season is nearly upon us - it's time to snap up those 'glamping' essentials and plan your packing. So what should make it into your rucksack?
Maxi dress - the most comfortable piece you'll pack this summer. Go for a floaty floral or fierce tribal print maxi.
Shorts - the shorter the better this season - get on-trend with turn-ups, distressed denim or lace hotpants, as spotted on spring/summer catwalks.
Wellies - your gladiators just won't cut it in the mud fields. Wellies look great with short sundresses and hotpants and our black wedges will give you a leg up to help you see through the crowds.
Playsuit - there's nothing easier to wear than an all-in-one - pair with wellies and you're ready to rock. Try our floral halterneck playsuit with boho belt.

Printed vest top - Bring out your inner rock chic with a printed vest top - wear with hotpants and a waistcoat.
Sundress - it has to be a LWD (little white dress) this summer. Pixie's never out of her pom pom dress! Just make sure to bow out of the mud-diving competitions!
Waistcoat - A season essential, throw a fringed, denim or leather waistcoat over your sundress or vest top.
Accessories - Go boho with layered beads, aviators and a straw hat.

Floral fancies

Cute floral prints have become a spring/summer staple over the past couple of years, and 2010 trends prove that feminine flowers are here to stay, with some blooming beautiful designs springing up all over the catwalks.
Of course, a floral print sun dress is a s/s must-have and this season there are several styles to choose from - we love the haterneck layered skirt sundress, jersey maxi and Pixie stripe floral border dress. Or for an easy alternative, go for the floral halterneck playsuit.
If you want to inject a bit of flower power into your outfit without going full-on floral, pair our uber-cute ditsy rara skirt with a simple vest top and the floral body with shorts, leggings or skinnies.
And to perfect the look for the festival season, layer-up cute accessories for boho chic. Try the vintage floral long scarf, floral bangles and garland style hairband, and throw your festival essentials into the floral hobo bag.

Pixie, Selfridges and Turn It Up...
Pixie Lott managed to squeeze some time out from her busy UK tour with Rihanna yesterday to unveil her amazing new clothing collection for Lipsy at Selfridges in London.

Before the photocall at Selfridges, Pixie stopped off at Lipsy HQ to say a quick hello and prep herself for the appearance. Our favourite pop-princess looked super-stylish choosing to wear her cobweb back maxi dress from the collection and signature pillar-box red lipstick. Love the look Pix!

Whilst at Lipsy HQ we chatted with Pixie about how much fun she was having on tour with Rihanna at the moment and how uber excited she was for the release of her fifth single 'Turn It Up', the title track of her debut album...yet another great single from the album! We've already downloaded the single and are practising the dance routines here in the Lipsy office! Buy Pixie's album 'Turn It Up' today by clicking here!

Stars in their eyes
The sun has already been spotted this spring so it's time to invest a couple of pairs of sunnies to see you through the season. What celeb style will you be emulating at the festivals and on the beach this summer?
Classic aviators

Cheryl Cole is the queen of style, so of course her favourite cover-ups are the timeless aviators. Light-weight and slick, they're the perfect accompaniment to the staple vest and skinnies look, and when it hots up, swap the jeans for denim cut-offs.
Also spotted on: Rihanna
Shop the look: Go for classic chic in our aviator style rimmed sunglasses.
Oversized owl

Round, oversized glasses have their style roots in the 1970s, which is why retro-lover Nicole Richie is such a fan. The ideal accessory to Nicole's boho look, pair with a maxi dress and floral hippy hairband.
Also spotted on: Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen
Shop the look: Try our rose-tinted Lipsy logo sunglasses or neutral logo sunglasses
Chunky and chic

Throughout the summer months Rihanna is rarely seen without a pair of thick plastic-rimmed sunglasses, it's all about the arm-detail. Great with a printed vest top, waistcoat and denim hotpants - think festival folk.
Also spotted on: Paris Hilton, who's even been spotted in a pair of Lipsy sunglasses!
Shop the look: Go glamping in the Lipsy logo printed sunglasses or ring detail sunglasses.

Spring/summer weddings - what to wear
It's that time of year when the invites begin rolling in and the spring/summer weddings start filling up your diary. Unless you're a bridesmaid and have had your frock picked out for you, you're going to have to get yourself a new outfit, but where do you start?
The main points to remember is that you don't want to a) overshadow the bride or b) be mistaken for her, so this usually means that anything long and white is off the menu. Be sure to find out what the bride and groom are planning to wear so that can coordinate and compliment their outfits.

Weddings are all about romance so go for feminine floral pieces or invest in spring/summer's fairytale trend. The pleated fold detail dress will take you from day to night with ease and can be worn again and again.
Nude is a great shade for weddings as it's soft and subtle and may well coordinate with the bridesmaid outfits. Try our one shoulder drape dress with satin waistband for fairytale romance.

If you want something a little different and stand-out, go for a floor-skimming dress such as the VIP beaded maxi dress or beaded empire line maxi dress - wear with strappy sandals in the day and change into killer heels for the evening do. The metallic strappy peep toes heels are the perfect wedding shoes.
When it comes to accessories, add a unique twist to your look with hair detail. Try the boho floral garland hairband, as seen on Pixie Lott, or the more traditional beaded leaf headband. And choose contemporary feminine pieces such as the enamel flower earrings, bird and flower charm bracelet or floral cuff.
And the perfect piece to set off any wedding outfit? A hot date of course - if you don't have a man, bag one on the dancefloor.

Pixie loves Lipsy- Exclusive Lipsy Bluewater store appearance!
When Pixie launched her debut fashion range for Lipsy we had to celebrate in style, which meant a day and night of parties!

First stop was the Lipsy Bluewater store appearance in Kent, where Pixie officially launched her debut clothing collection for Lipsy. Wearing her favourite white pom-pom dress, Pixie cut the ribbon around her two collections - Festival and Party - and signed autographs for hundreds of fans who had queued for hours to meet their favourite pop star.

Our Facebook competition winner Rhiannon Lawson and friend loved Pixie's sundresses and said that they're looking forward to seeing her perform at the V Festival this summer, no doubt wearing some of the pieces. Lipsy had a fair few fans in the queue too. Devon Durrant, 14, was already modelling the denim bead-embellished waistcoat, and was clutching her Pixie printed vest top with pride. "She comes in here every weekend," said her mum "she loves Lipsy".
As usual Pixie had brought along family for support, this time in the form of her brother Stephen, who told us that he enjoys hanging out with his little sister when he's not at university studying Economics. But he added that Pixie's fame does come at a price: "Once the press they were following the car whilst I was driving Pixie somewhere and they nearly drove me off the road," he said. "In the end we just stopped at a garage and let them get their shot".

After all the madness and a hugely successful day, we left Pixie to relax and unwind for a couple of hours before we got the party started at London nightclub Movida, for a star-studded celebrity bash!

Trend alert: Double denim
The current buzz words of the fashion press, 'double denim' is moving off the magazine pages and onto the streets as we edge closer to summer.
There was no escaping the denim trend at s/s fashion weeks as Ralph Lauren reprised its Nineties look, pairing distressed jeans with denim shirts. And Chloe, D&G and Jeremy Scott were among the labels to follow suit.
Denim hot-pants had their first airing of the year as off-duty models showed off their skyscraper pins, and the stylista appeal of the fashion favourite was confirmed when Pixie Lott included distressed denim shorts with beaded embellishment in her Lipsy festival range.

How to wear the look
The best thing about this look as that it's easy to wear and comfortable to boot! Pair denim shorts or a denim skirt with a printed vest-top and denim waistcoat and accessorise with long layers of beads for a festival look or throw a light denim shirt over jeans or leggings to embrace the Nineties comeback.
If you're yet to be convinced by the 'double' part of the trend, go for a single piece, such as our zip front denim dress or faded floral denim dress. The look works well with floral print so pair our floral zip corset with denim hot pants or distressed jeans or throw a denim waistcoat over a cute floral sun dress - Pixie Lott style. Alternatively, add subtle denim touches to your outfit with accessories, such as our denim hobo bag or studded denim stilettos.
And as denim never goes out of fashion, you can wear the pieces again and again!

Sneak peeks at the Pixie Lott collection!
With just one week to go until the launch of Pixie Lott's exclusive Lipsy range, it seems that the fashion mags are just as excited as we are! Fashion editors have been piling praise on Pixie's design efforts, as well as getting under the style skin of Miss Lott herself.

Introducing the range in Look magazine, editor Ali Hall called Pixie's line "as catchy as her songs".
The high-street fashion bible went on to pick out Pixie's maxi dress, party range, denim shorts and a couple of cute sun dresses as its favourite pieces, writing: "The floral frocks and bleached denim are perfect for layering up and make a cute capsule camping wardrobe".
More!'s executive style director Sophie Stevens was also taken with the peacock-embellished denim pieces, saying that "the Festival collection has all the key looks".
.jpg)
"It's the perfect boho and rock mix, which is Pixie all over," she said. "In contrast, her party collection is very girly glam with sexy animal prints - but it still has the signature rock edge Pixie's known for."
Pixie told the magazine that she took a hands-on role in the design process, even bringing in her mum's vintage white dress and copying it for one of the pieces. She also named Sienna Miller and Alexa Chung as her style icons, saying: "They always look really cool and I like their understated glamour."
Pixie will be making a personal appearance at our Bluewater store at 4pm on 28 April to unveil her Festival and Party collections - get their early as we're expecting a big crowd. And to celebrate the lead-up to the launch, we're giving away some amazing Pixie prizes on our Facebook page every day this week!
The wait is nearly over girls!

Get the look: Leighton Meester
You just can't help but love Leighton Meester: she's fierce as quick-talking Gossip Girl Blair Waldorf, is one of the hottest New York scenesters around and - as if being an actress and model wasn't enough - is nurturing a blossoming singing career. Her club classic with Cobra Starship, 'Good Girls Go Bad', is one of our favourite party anthems, and in the video Leighton sums up her 'it' girl appeal with trademark cheeky smile, smokey eyes and messy curls - this is one fashionista who knows how to party!

Showing off her fabulous figure, Miss Meester likes to keep it short and adds her own spin to on-trend outfits with a few carefully-chosen accessories. She rocks this graphic print mini with chunky ring and bracelet and goes for a graphic floral print dress that could work day or night, glamming up with a waist-defining belt and mix-and-match bangles. Get the look with our abstract design strapless sweetheart dress and the jersey-top printed skirt dress, and add your own unique edge with a handful of accessories.

Leighton's love of accessories doesn't stop at evening attire: she makes the classic leggings, vest-top and blazer outfit her own with some playful feminine pieces. To emulate Leighton's casual chic, add one of our summer scarves and a cute bag such as the floral hobo or pink bow detail tote to your day-time staples.

Pixie Lott talks to Lipsy

Walking barefoot around Kensington Roof Gardens in a floaty white dress, it's obvious that Pixie Lott is ready for summer when we catch up with her, perhaps because she's just back from shooting her 'Pixie Loves Lipsy' collection in Spain's warmer climes. "It was amazing to go to Marbella and be in the sunshine," Pixie enthuses. "I loved doing the festival stuff as the makeup was a bit crazy. I also love accessories, so we had fun with scarves and hats and I took a creative role in the way I looked."
Pixie talks style
Having started wearing Lipsy at a young age, Pixie knows that "when girls look for something to wear on a weekend, they go to Lipsy" and feels that her collection sums up her style perfectly.
"The collection is very me and that's why it was great to do the two looks - festival and party - as I love festivals and I love going out. It's good for people looking for something to wear over the summer and for the weekends."
Pixie describes her style as "vintage-inspired with a mix of contemporary fashion and designer", and the collection is just as eclectic, with her favourite pieces spanning current trends. "I really like this white pom-pom dress as it's vintage-looking, so I'll definitely be wearing it at the festivals this year. I also love the red and black lace bodice party dress which I'd wear out on a Friday or Saturday night. "Then there's the white lace backless dress - I love any kind of backless style and I think a lot of my friends will like that as well," she adds.
Pixie talks make-up
Sitting cross-legged, and happy to have pictures taken with fans within the Lipsy family, it's clear that Pixie is one laid-back pop star - so much so that she tells us it takes her just 30 minutes to get ready for a night out! "If I have half an hour, I can do that definitely - it just depends how much time I have. If it's two hours, it can take that long too. "However long you have, if you're doing smoky eyes you have to do that before you do your base and cheeks because it can get messy and you don't want to have to start over."
Pixie talks music
With two number-one singles under her belt, as well as a platinum-selling debut album, it's hard to believe that Pixie is still just 19. If she wasn't one of the country's favourite pop stars, she says would still be at Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts with her friends, singing, dancing, acting or "doing anything entertainment-focused". "You've got to be an opportunist in this game," she says. "If you want it you have to go for every audition, every opportunity. "I used to scour the internet and papers all the time. But I think if you have the right dedication and persistence you'll get there."
Pixie talks men
With a stunning look, amazing talent and fun-loving personality, it seems that Pixie could have any man she chose, so who would that be? "I don't have any unusual celebrity crushes," she smiles coyly. "It's just the usuals like Rob Pattinson and Ashton Kutcher, but I bet everyone says that!" And what would you do if you met them? "I don't know actually," she laughs. "Say 'hi'?" With this it becomes clear that even gorgeous pop stars can get a bit star-struck and giggly at times, and it's this down-to-earth attitude that makes Pixie one of our favourite celebs. We can't wait to get our hands on the pieces in her exclusive Lipsy collections!
The 'Pixie Loves Lipsy' festival and party ranges will be available in stores and online from late April.

90210's Jessica Lowndes parties in Lipsy

Jessica Lowndes, who plays Adrianna Tate-Duncan in hit series 90210, popped into Lipsy HQ to stock up on some party essentials this weekend.
The gorgeous star made the most of her London trip by fitting in some serious shopping and socialising. Having partied at Movida on Friday, she hosted a night at Vendrome on Saturday and accessorised our origami bustier dress with a waist-defining belt, leather jacket and black clutch.

Jessica is the latest in a growing number of US celebs to be spotted in Lipsy, with Paris Hilton, Demi Lovato, The Hills' Kristin Cavallari and Kimberly Wyatt from the Pussycat Dolls all taking Lipsy items stateside.
The American 'it' girls can't get enough of Lipsy party dresses and also seem to be big fans of our logo wear and lace items.

Get the look: Amber Le Bon

Daughter of supermodel Yasmin Le Bon and Duran Duran singer Simon Le Bon, Amber Le Bon has some seriously cool celeb heritage and is emerging as the one to watch on the London fashion scene right now. She's been snapped up by top agency Models 1 and has bagged some high-profile modelling gigs already this year, so expect to be seeing a lot more of this 'it' girl.
What we love most about our newest girl crush is her understated style: At just 20 she oozes class and sophistication, and we've completely fallen for her fresh, laid-back look.
.jpg)
She's recently pulled off the pretty prairie trend with a cute Broderie Anglaise dress, bow detail belt and retro curls, and demonstrated her versatility by adding rock-chic edge to a LBD with a zip-detail biker jacket. Pair our wardrobe-staple rainbow Lurex dress with the gold stud leather jacket for a similar look.
But it's not all about the party dresses with Miss Le Bon: She looks tres-cool in a printed vest, harem trousers and a boho long pendent too, and we reckon she's going to emerge as a true style icon at this summer's festivals.

Pixie Lott shoots Lipsy collection

Not even grey skies could dampen Pixie Lott's enthusiasm for her new Lipsy collection as she worked the camera on last week's shoot. We thought Marbella would be a safe bet for a bit of sun but the fashion gods must have been out of earshot as Pixie modelled her trademark 'festival' and 'party' looks in the Spanish city.
With the collections launching in late April we don't want to spoil the surprise by letting you in on the Pixie pieces just yet, but these pics give you an idea as to the feel of the festival range. Pixie loves white sun dresses and Americana waistcoats!
She also fell for our stud-detail biker wellies - just how cool can you get? We're expecting these to be a big hit with the 'Brit' girls - paired with denim hotpants of course - during festival season so make sure you snap them up before the celebs do.
If you're gagging for more Pixie previews, stay tuned for our behind-the-scenes video from the shoot, coming soon!

Get the look: Chloe Sevigny
Actress, designer, and model Chloe Sevigny's unique style draws on the grunge look, which she helped make cool the first time round as an 'it' girl in 1990s New York. But what we love about Chloe's style is that she manages to pull off masculine pieces whilst retaining an edge of alluring femininity.

Give the girl a tutu and a clutch and she pairs them with statement vests, biker boots and thick-rimmed glasses, maintaining the balance between girly, geek and grunge.
But that's not the say that Chloe can't turn up the glamour when required - this is a girl who's been in showbiz for well over a decade, remember. At recent red carpet events she's sparkled in a blue architectural bandeau, gone for full-on feminine charm in a white frill skirt babydoll and proved that her look is current by nailing the top bun, Grecian and nude trends in a floaty one-shoulder number.

Get the look in our strapless reverse sequin dress, VIP wire frill hem dress and bow detail bandeau dress.
Chloe, you have it all sewn up, and we salute you.

Paris Hilton spotted in Lipsy tracksuit
.jpg)
It's no secret that Paris Hilton is a fan of Lipsy - last year she was spotted wearing our dresses, sunglasses and accessories and we even customised a leather jacket for her - but it seems that she's taken a special shine to our logowear range!
Paris has been papped in our Lipsy logo tracksuits a number of times when enjoying some leisure time, and was recently seen out and about in our pink Lipsy crown hoodie set.
A big hit with celebs, the velour hoodies and longue pants, which come in a range of colours and designs, are uber-comfy and the perfect outfit in which to chill out, hit the gym or enjoy a spot of retail therapy. Just remember to team with oversized shades for that true celeb look!

Get the Alice in Wonderland look

Lewis Carroll's classic novel 'Alice's Adventures in Wonderland' has been given the Tim Burton treatment and hits cinemas this week. But it's not just the film world that's all in a frenzy about Alice; her style has also inspired a fashion micro-trend. Part of the season's focus on all things pretty, the Wonderland look is all about girly garms and feminine fun.
Getting romantic on the runway, Chanel, Lanvin and Chloe were among the designers to use tulle and drape detail on fairytale dresses, creating a top spring/summer style. Our organza prom dress fully embraces the trend with a look that's fit for a princess, while the ballerina-style tulle frill skirt is a season essential.
Romantic ruffles are also essential to the Alice look, and needn't be over-the-top. Add a bit of fairytale magic to your day with our tipped ruffle shoulder blouse or the ruffle collar shift dress.
For colours, it's all about soft pastels and a whole lot of pink. The pink prom bust dress with pretty bow detail and bubblegum Grecian wrap skirt come in the perfect ice-cream shades for a flirty summer look.
And with the finishing touches it's all in the details; charms, bows, flowers - anything that appeals to the little princess in you. We love the gold charm bracelet with heart, lipstick and key details, the cute enamel bow necklace and the ultra-pretty pink floral cuff. Or to add a touch of Alice to any outfit with one of our bow belts.
We can't wait to see the film and start our Alice transformation!

Countdown to summer begins with Lipsy Sun Shop
A range with many celeb fans - Sarah Harding, the Hollyoaks girls and The Saturdays to name but a few - we're very excited to see Lipsy swimwear back in stock, not least because it means that the countdown to summer can truly begin!

This year's collection has taken its cue from some of the hottest spring/summer trends to help you look your best by the pool or at the beach. As every Lipsy girl knows, there's no excuse for letting your style slip on holiday!
Check out the swimwear styles you'll be rocking this summer and start building up that fake tan now!

Animal prints and tribal brights - Safari styles, animal prints and loud tribal designs are key for s/s. Check out the bold and bright Proenza Schouler, Versace and Alexander McQueen collections for all the proof you'll need that Amazonian goddess is the look to be going for this season. Oh, and the rumours are true by the way, this trend even allows you to clash prints!
Spring bling: Opulence dressing, or 'spring bling' as Vogue has nicknamed the trend, is still in, with Balmain, Lanvin and Burberry Prorsum among the many designers coming from the 'more is more' school of thought. Gem detailing, sequin embellishments and gold pieces will help you make a statement this sunny season.
Dotty about retro: Designers have been looking back to the swinging Fifties for style inspiration this year, resurrecting the playful polka dot in all its fun and flirtatious glory. The style is all about feminine glamour and the hot pink frill detail on our bikini compliments it perfectly.

London Fashion Week - top trends
The spring/summer season isn't fully underway and already we're previewing autumn/winter looks at London Fashion Week. But worry not, this year trends have a long lifespan - it's more about investment pieces than fast-fashion - and the styles we're wearing now show no sign of going anywhere. So, what can we look forward to seeing a bit more of?
Sequins and gold - As an antidote to the recession blues, opulence dressing is here to stay. Clements Ribero added bling to footwear and boho dresses with sequin detailing, PPQ showcased some rather fabulous gold hot pants and Mulberry went for subtle studded embellishments.
Neutrals and pastels - Shades will continue to be subtle and soft with neutrals in cream, beige and browns, candy-coloured pastels and, if Mulberry's collection is anything to by, a whole lot of charcoal.
Period romance - Take a style cue from period dramas with full skirts, textured materials and romantic embellishments. Bringing it back to basics, the prairie look isn't going anywhere either.
Bows - Bows may be a central part of the 'Alice in Wonderland' micro-trend, but they're not just a flash in the fashion pan. Henry Holland's models strutted down the catwalk with bows in their hair and Orla Kiely prettied-up dresses with bow prints and detailing.
Shoes with socks - Perfect to wear with bare legs in spring or over tights in the colder months, pretty socks make up one of this year's cutest trends: The look works best with sandals, Mary Janes and wedges.
What the celebs wore

The Sugababes - The three girls pulled off very individual looks in the front row, each working one of this season's hottest trends. Amelle went for the underwear as outerwear look - try our zip-front corset with skinny jeans. Jade looked cute in an LWD - spot-on for the Little Miss Perfect trend encapsulated in our wrapover ric rac bow dress. And Heidi opted for sheer romantic ruffles in a top similar to our silk chiffon blouse.
Nicola Roberts - The Girls Aloud fashionista rocked an 80's inspired classic casual look in stone-wash skinnies, red Chanel jacket and cream quilted bag. Get the look in our faded skinny jeans, red silk chiffon blouse and stud quilted hobo bag.

Olivia Palermo - New York scenester Olivia Palermo got graphic at LFW, mixing and matching abstract prints for a truly on-trend look. Check out our asymmetric digital print dress in this season's bright neons.
Tue 23 Feb 2010
Get the look: Kate Moss
London Fashion Week is well underway and to celebrate we thought we'd look to Britain's face of fashion, Miss Moss herself, for some style inspiration. The queen of vintage, Kate mixes and matches items to create a look which is marries pretty and classic style with rock chic edge and is stamping her own unique mark all over the season's top trends: bold prints, leather and lace.
Get the look with these top style tips:

Toughen up summer dresses with leather: Kate rocks this season's digital print trend and hardens up the feminine style with a leather bustier. Match our bold asymmetric skirt shift dress with the biker gilet for a truly futuristic look.

Update your LBD with a cream blazer: Go for classic French chic by matching a simple and sophisticated lace LDB with this season's must-have jacket - the cream blazer. Fall in love with the gothic romance of the pleat sleeve lace shift or low back lace prom dress and make it monochrome with our soft crinkle waterfall leather jacket.

Make a statement with colour: Kate's wardrobe is full of low-key neutrals which she uses as style building blocks, and this season's soft grey shade makes for the perfect base. But never one to shy away from attention, she makes sure to make a statement with a bold splash of colour. Accessorise a low-key day-time outfit with a vibrant red tote for ultimate glamour.

Get the look: Kim Kardashian
Model, reality star and socialite Kim Kardashian is curvy and proud and knows exactly how to flatter her figure. We've taken a guess at her style rules with some tips we could all do with taking on board.

Nip in at the waist - Accentuate that hour glass figure by nipping in outfits at the waist. Tuck a jersey top into a mini for figure-enhancing femininity. Try our jersey embellished pleat skirt dress or frill bodice dress.
Embrace your seductive powers - Dress like a sex kitten in sensual colours such as the rich red on our gorgeous silk rouge tea dress.
Get gorgeous in Grecian - Grecian styles were designed with voluptuous girls in mind, defining the waist and enhancing sexy curves. Look for ruched and drape details. Our halterneck beaded babydoll is perfect for s/s.

Know the trends - Make sure you don't get stuck in a style rut by keeping on top of the season's trends. The LWD (little white dress) is a s/s must-have, and a great tan enhancer! Our wrap-over ric rac bow dress is sure to be a best-seller so get it before it's gone!

The Brits - get the looks
We absolutely loved the Brits this year! Most deserving winners were most definitely Lady Gaga, who scooped three awards and looked amazing in her lace flower body suit and head-piece and paid tribute to the late Alexander McQueen, and JLS, who were grinning like Cheshire cats as they accepted their awards for Best Breakthrough Act and Best British Single. Looking good boys!
So, to the trends of the evening: There were some fabulous frocks on display, and everyone deserved a big fashion tick in our books.Statement shoulders were very much the order of the night, proving that the trend continues to dominate celeb style, with Leona Lewis, Mel B and Alicia Keys going for architectural shapes. Alicia performed her massive hit 'Empire State of Mind' with Best International Male Solo Artist winner Jay-Z wearing a figure-hugging black sparkly mini dress similar to our V-neck sequin dress.

Despite leaving the Brits empty-handed, Pixie Lott looked stunning in a gothic black mini with lace sleeves and retro-inspired hair. Get the look in our low back lace prom dress, lace drop waisted dress or Sarah Harding's favourite, the lace panelled jersey dress. Or mix and match with our lace body.

Cheryl Cole's high-energy performance of 'Fight for this Love' was one of our personal highlights of the evening: She just keeps getting better and better and looked amazing in a Matrix-style white trench and aviators. The trench is a must-have piece the style of the season - check out our ruched shoulder mac and piped belted mac. After the quickest outfit change of the evening, Cheryl re-appeared for the second half of her hit in a sparkly black backless body - for a less daring take on the look, go for our glitter backless dress.

Sarah Harding parties and holidays in Lipsy

A long-time lover of all things Lipsy, Sarah Harding has been spotted partying and holidaying in two of our must-have pieces over recent weeks. Sarah partied at her London nightclub Kanaloa, with DJ boyfriend Tom Crane and Saturday's singer Una Healy, in our black lace panel jersey dress, which she paired with studded boots, a leather jacket and chain bag to create her signature rock-chic look.
Just hours after she left Mahiki's sister nightspot, Sarah jetted off to holiday in Barbados with Tom and a group of friends and it looks like she's been having a ball sipping champers and modelling a number of stunning bikinis, including our leopard print and pink-frill two-piece!
Look out for our new season Sun Shop - coming soon!

Press Day SS10 - sneek peek!

Last week we invited the press to feast their eyes on our new spring/summer collection at Lipsy HQ and we were just as excited as them to see the gorgeous new pieces on display. As well as new styles of our famous party dresses, this season we've matched the catwalk trends by incorporating pretty, feminine charm into our designs, taking inspiration from vintage 1990's styles and getting down with the denim revolution.
For evening wear, tribal and animal prints set off by bold colours and embellishments are huge this season. And our Provocateur range draws on the underwear as outerwear trend with maximum effect, using sensual colours, sexy cuts and gorgeous materials to create a look that is hard to resist. One of our favourite pieces is the new lace body - a wardrobe staple for s/s!
Grecian dresses are also making a comeback for the sunny season, with draping, nudes and our signature jewelled pocket details making for ultra-feminine party pieces. And the VIP range is just stunning - even if we do say so ourselves: Feathers, sequins and lace details really give this collection an edge.
But it's not all about party dresses, this season we're also loving the festival-goer trend, with graphic floral prints, 90s-inspired tie-dye and neon animal print tops and maxi-dresses creating feminine and stand-out looks.

The 'saloon girl' range is also brand spanking new, with a focus on denim, floral prints and layering making for a look that Pixie Lott would be proud to wear. Our three favourite pieces from this collection have to be the blue and white checked gingham dress (so pretty), the Broderie Anglaise LWD (little white dress) - a season essential - and the denim waistcoat that will go with everything!
And as for the other strings to our bow: We have new colours and designs coming into our celeb-favourite logowear range, some bold and beautiful bikinis in neons, abstract prints and polka dots, gorgeous studded and fringed handbags and lace-detail clutches, and cute heart, floral and feather detail jewellery.
Oh, and the shoes, the shoes...swoon. Pinks and nudes, bows, studding and chain detail and wedges and gladiator styles. We're in love!
Pampering princesses
Special thanks has to go out to our gorgeous pampering team who made the day so amazing. We had a masseuse from Cucumba on hand to relieve any stresses, Michelle Griffin hair extensions and the Fake Bake self-tanning experts letting us into the tricks of the trade and celebrity makeup artist Gemma Aldous from Me Me Me giving mini-makeovers! We're loving Me Me Me's affordable range of celeb-ready makeup, especially their 'Beat the Blues Illuminator' for translucent cheek-bone shimmer, 'Fat Cat Lashes' volumising mascara and 'Shimmy Shimmers' brush-on blocks. Make-up bag must-haves!

Demi Lovato shops at Lipsy
Camp Rock star Demi Lovato popped into Lipsy HQ this week to pick up some must-have pieces for the upcoming season.
Channelling Nineties-style, the American singer/songwriter was wearing a red velvet blazer and black mini with big shades, layered chains and metallic-detail killer heels - this is one seriously stylish 17-year-old!

Snapping up some s/s wardrobe staples, Demi went for classic feminine pieces with our short flower dress and floral maxi (both coming soon) and the lace body and dropped lace dress. And she loved our rock-chic essential, the chainmail waistcoat, which is a bargain at just £25! We think it'd look great layered over the lace body with black skinnies and tough biker boots- it's all about mixing and matching materials and textures this season! Demi also picked up a Lipsy tracksuit - fast becoming a celebrity must-have - to chill out in when she gets some down-time.

Wonderbra scoops the best supporting role...
The Hollywood A-Listers excelled themselves at the Golden Globes, shimmying down the red carpet in an amazing variety of stunning frocks. But as in the film industry, it takes a lot of work behind the scenes (or seams in this case) to create the finished product, and great dresses demand great bras. So, how to we mere mortals get the looks?
Strapless style
Christina Aguilera and Courtney Cox Arquette went for classic Hollywood glamour, in baby pink and jet black strapless maxi gowns respectively, to complement their colourings. For simple sophistication, check out our white jewelled plunge neck dress and black lace panel dress. Camilla Belle chose a more futuristic style in one of the season's hottest trends - bold abstract print. Get the look in our VIP bustle strapless dress.
Having visible bra straps with such fabulous frocks is a huge fashion no-no, so make sure you're well supported with some behind-the-seams magic. The Wonderbra Ultimate Strapless will not only give your dress great structure, it'll also create a show-stopping cleavage!

One-shoulder wonders
Hitting spring/summer's top trends, Katy Perry and Drew Barrymore dazzled in white and nude Grecian, one-shoulder creations.
This year designers have re-discovered the power of raw, pure and natural shades, with timeless Grecian styles and floaty feminine materials complementing the colours perfectly. Our one-shoulder grecian dress is a summer essential, and the chiffon harness babydoll a feminine fantasy.
And the prize for supporting role must go to...Wonderbra Multi-plunge. If you don't feel comfortable going without straps, you don't have to! Just adjust the straps to fit the shape you your dress's neckline - perfect.

Move over Whitney Port, stand aside Audrina Patridge, there's a new New York socialite on the scene, and we think she may just turn out to be the It girl of 2010. Olivia Palermo's effortless style and sweet feminine charm have well and truly won us over. We love her hair - messy up dos and loose waves - yes please, her smoky eyes and shimmering skin, but most of all we love her clothes!
In just one fabulous outfit she hits three of the season's top trends - pairing a metallic dress with a studded boyfriend blazer. Get the look with our eyelet corset tulip dress, now in the sale, and wear with the crinkle waterfall leather jacket for urban cool.

Spotted in Lipsy: Michelle Heaton in OK! and Alexandra Burke in More
Everyone here at Lipsy would like to say a big congratulations to Michelle Heaton on the news that she is engaged to long-term boyfriend Hugh Hanley! Michelle and Hugh started dating in summer 2008, after her split from husband Andy Scott-Lee, and they told OK! that they're planning on an August or September wedding in either New York of Hawaii - sounds fab!
Michelle looked gorgeous in the magazine shoot, going for classic romance in a number of flirty and feminine Lipsy dresses - the mesh prom dress, back detail shift dress and VIP sequin chiffon maxi dress - and keeping warm in a fur faux coat. Frolicking in the snow at the country house location, she looked every bit the smitten kitten!

Alexandra Burke's Lipsy obsession was also laid bare for all to see in this month's issue of More. Alex loves our sparkling minis and the mag picked out six pieces she has rocked over the past year. Luckily for you, many of them are now in the sale so you won't need a celeb bank balance to snap up the singer's sassy style!

Lipsy's Big Review of the Year
Wow - what a year it's been. Not a day has passed without a juicy celeb story to get our teeth into, the fashion has been fierce; the music the best we can remember in a long while and it's been non-stop excitement at Lipsy HQ with fashion news and celeb spots nearly every week!
So, what will 2009 be remembered for? We've come up with our own list but let us know if you think we've missed anything!
Katie and Peter - the fairy-tale ends
We all knew that they had a stormy relationship but we never thought they'd actually divorce! Many were in denial about the split and the words 'publicity stunt' sprung to mind on more than one occasion, but Pete stood his ground, Katie started seeing a cross-dresser, returned to the jungle, stopped seeing the cross-dresser...and we just couldn't get enough of the story!

Russell 4 Katy
We never thought we'd see the day - serial-womanizer Russell Brand falling in love and settling down! But Katy Perry has proved his perfect match and after a whirl-wind romance the quirky twosome are now reportedly engaged - good luck to our new favourite couple!
The new princesses of pop
My god, hasn't it just been the best year for music! Loved Cheryl's debut solo single, loved her performance on The X Factor, loved her dresses - so yeah, big celeb crush on Mrs Cole this year! But it hasn't all been about the Geordie lass - 2009 has seen some very strong competition for the crown of Queen of Pop. Our favourite new pint-sized pop princess - move over Kylie - Pixie Lott burst onto the scene with fab tunes and enviable style, Alexandra Burke proved that winning the X-Factor was just the beginning with the absolutely fierce 'Bad Boys', and you couldn't go anywhere without hearing one of Lady Gaga's electro hits or marvelling at photos of her out-there futuristic style!

Twi-hard mania!
Just when we thought it couldn't get any better, New Moon offered up even more brooding looks, sparkling eyes and hot bods than the first Twilight film - major swoon! Taylor Lautner gave R-Pattz a run for his money as crush of the year - although we have to admit that we're still Team Edward - and Kristen Stewart emerged as an unexpected style icon - mixing up grunge and classic feminine styles to create an original look with an uber-cool edge.
Lily Allen = the new face of Chanel
Following in the footsteps of Jerry Hall, Diane Kruger and Milla Jovovich, our very own Brit icon Lily Allen became the new face of Chanel handbags! Karl Lagerfeld described his new muse as '"fun" and, channelling Audrey Hepburn, she proved to be the perfect choice for the campaign. What a style overhaul - we remember the days of sun-dresses, chunky trainers and chav earrings. Good on ya Lil!

The top trends
Designers looked back to the eighties for style inspiration and statement shoulders, sequins, body-con dresses, trophy jackets and jumpsuits became the must-have pieces of the year. We got a glimpse of fashions to come, with a little help from Lady Gaga, and it seems that the future looks metallic, angular and geometric! And let's not forget the rock chic trend - stud and chain details, biker jackets and skinny jeans helped add an edge to girly glamour.
Lipsy-world
Website make-over: We pimped our website to make it better for you! You can now search by style, colour, trend and - coming soon - celebrity, drool over your new fashion crush with larger images and better zoom and pre-order to stay on top of the trends and catch those elusive best-sellers when they come back in stock!
International shopping costs slashed: It was good news for Lipsy girls in more far-flung locations as we slashed our overseas delivery costs with significant reductions for all you Irish Lipsy fans!
Shoes and lingerie launches: Expanding our fashion empire, we launched a fierce new range of killer heels, incorporating all the top trends - from shoe boots to gladiator sandals. We were also proud to present two new ranges of lingerie, designed for Lipsy by Soleil Sucre and Caprice, to help you look hot both in and out of your party dress!
New stores: We know that you love shopping online, but sometimes you need an emergency outfit for that special night out, so we decided to take our party dresses out to the nation by opening up Lipsy stores all around the country. You can now get your Lipsy fashion fix in...deep breath...Newcastle, Manchester Arndale Centre, Lakeside Essex, Liverpool, Dundrum, Cardiff, Nottingham, Braehead Glasgow, Bluewater, Brighton, Belfast and Sheffield.
Lipsy's got the X-Factor: The X-Factor finalists have always had a bit of a thing for Lipsy and this year proved no exception. Lucie Jones and Rachel Adedeji stunned audiences in Lipsy dresses during their live performances, and Lucie - who has joined Lily Cole, Agyness Deyn and Daisy Lowe on the books of Select model agency - has since popped into Lipsy HQ and the Brentcross store for some serious shopping. Everyone's favourite Essex girl, Stacey Solomon, was also spotted rehearsing and chilling out in Lipsy logo-wear during the series, as well as ramping up the glamour in our VIP feather dress for the wrap party!

Celebs love Lipsy: We don't like to name-drop - well, actually we do - but Lipsy has been a big hit with the stars this year. The likes of the Pussycat Dolls' Kimberly Wyatt, Beverly Knight and Amy Winehouse have all paid Lipsy HQ a visit. Alesha Dixon, The Saturdays and The Hills' Kristin Cavallari have been spotted rocking our party dresses and Lipsy outfits were all over the red carpet at the top soap star events of the year. Oh, and did we mention that our lace zip back top was featured in Vogue not once but twice?! A seal of approval of the highest order!

Get the look: Diane Kruger
As an A-list Hollywood actress and former fashion model, you can't get much cooler than Diane Kruger, and her effortless sophistication speaks reams about her star status.
The pinnacle of elegance, Diane made a winning style statement in this oh-so-cute black peplum LBD in the season's must-have fabric - luxe velvet - ticking off the trends one by one. Take a leaf out of her book and add edge to this classic style with a chain belt - try our velvet strapless mini dress.

At another A-List do the blonde beauty went for all-out-glamour in a drop-back sparkly party dress - how could you not feel like a million dollars in this style? Turn heads at your Christmas and NYE dos in our twinkling glitter backless dress.

And proving that red-carpet style isn't all about party dresses, Diane adds high-fashion style to the casual chic of harem pants with a fitted body and sequin trophy jacket. Team our harem trousers with a sequin waistcoat for alternative Christmas sparkle.

The Saturdays have thrown themselves into the Christmas party spirit recently, championing the sequin trend at not one but three events! Sequins are always a good bet at Christmas but this year the trend has really taken off, with bling becoming the look of the season! Choose the right style for you:
All-out sparkle

Being the last remaining girl in the X Factor, and with a voice and look that just keep getting bigger and better, we're backing Stacey all the way! While the Essex girl is obviously having the time of her life, there's no denying that the show's rehearsal schedule is tough, and you need the right gear for the job.
Practicing her routines with choreographer Brian Friedman and vocal coach Yvie Burnett, Stacey was spotted strutting her stuff in the Lipsy crown hoodie, lounge pants and starburst logo tee and during a rare break from rehearsals, popped out in our cosy pink velour hoodie and lounge pants. It may be getting chilly out but this doesn't mean we have to hide our figures away in chunky knit cardies and baggy sweaters. Jumper dresses have had a high-fashion make-over this year so you can keep cutting edge as well as cosy.
Oversized laddered jumpers were all over the catwalk earlier this year, making them one of this season's must-have pieces. Stylishly simple, edgy and effortless to wear, the laddered jumper dress is a timeless wardrobe staple. Snap up our cobweb knitted tunic and open weave tunic before they sell out. Wear over tights, leggings or skinny jeans and slip over a bright top for a flash of colour.

If you want to brighten up your winter wears, rich and cosy colours are perfect for this time of year and wild berry is one of the hottest shades of the season - just ask Pixie Lott! Check out our gorgeous wild berry tunic.

Solving the day-to-night problem, we also have some amazingly versatile long-sleeved dresses. Channelling this season's edgy rock-chic vibe, the marble wash studded tunic can be worn over leggings or skinnies with boots in the day and paired with sheer tights and killer heels for a night out. And the long-sleeved embellished shoulder dress hits so many of this season's hottest trends - studs, sequins, statement shoulders, bodycon - that you'll want to wear it all the time, and of course you can!

You'd have to have been living on another planet for the last few months to still be in the dark about the statement shoulder trend. Along with sequins it is THE top trend of AW09. Having emerged when top-name designers Balmain, Marc Jacobs, Givenchy and D&G looked to the eighties for inspiration, statement shoulders have been adopted by such style icons as Victoria Beckham, Rihanna, Blake Lively and Kate Moss.
Subtler than 80's power dressing pads, today's structured shoulders are all about creating drama with delicate detailing and futuristic designs. And best of all, the architectural silhouettes make waists look tiny by comparison!

Try our studded shoulder dress, asymmetric zip shift dress or backless glitter dress for a Lipsy take on the trend. Hit two trends in one with the sequin futuristic dress or v neck sequin dress in the style of Blake Lively. Or add drama to any outfit with this season's must have item, the military tux jacket.

Britain's golden girl can do no wrong in our eyes. We love everything she is associated with: Girls Aloud, The X Factor, her new solo single...but most of all we love her look! Cheryl truly is a style icon of our times and as well as becoming one of our favourite cover girls over the last few years, is now the new face (and hair) of L'Oreal's Elvive range. So, how does she manage to look so damn good all the time?
The key to Cheryl's look is statement pieces - bringing the basics (skinny jeans, leggings and vest tops) up-to-date with key items. Cheryl works the trophy jacket look with a Red Riding Hood-style duffle coat for the day and sequined blazer for the evening. Check out our red wool duffle coat and silver sequin jacket.

For more casual style she teams this season's trend top, a marble wash tunic, with bleached skinnies and for night-out sex-appeal brings the LBD up-to-date with a zip-front party dress and leather jacket. Try our eyelet marbled tunic and alligator futuristic dress.

We'll be watching every Saturday and Sunday night to see what Cheryl will wear next!

The soap stars glammed up last Monday night for this year's Inside Soap Awards, with many choosing to make an impression in Lipsy party dresses. It seems that the cast of Corrie have become regular visitors to our Manchester Lipsy store, which was opened by Michelle Keegan who plays Tina McIntyre in the soap. Michelle wore our stunning black, asymmetric glitter mini-dress (sold out!) to take the Sexiest Female award - a title well deserved we think!

And fellow cast-members Brooke Vincent (Sophie Webster) and Sacha Parkinson (best-friend Sian), who will become lesbian lovers in an upcoming storyline, dazzled in a VIP studded bodice feather dress and VIP bejewelled heart layer dress.

Hollyoaks' Dominique Jackson (Lauren Valentine) also swapped her on-screen emo attire for our floaty feminine pleated corset chiffon dress.

But it was the Eastenders' cast who really stole the show, sweeping the board with their awards. Lacey Turner (Stacey Slater) won Best Actress for the fourth year running, Kara Tointon (Dawn Swan) picked up the Best Dressed gong, Best Bitch and Best Bad Boy went to schemers Charlie Brooks (Janine Butcher) and Larry Lamb (Archie Mitchell) and John Partridge (Christian Clarke) was named Sexiest Male. 'Enders also won the coveted title of Best Soap.
